Have Dinner with Me In Vancouver. I’m Paying!

OK. Here’s the deal. I’m one of the speakers at the Marketing Mastery Summit that’s happening in Vancouver Dec. 3 – 4. I’ve been given a $200 coupon code that’ll bring the early-bird price of the summit down from $297 to $97. Furthermore, I’ve been told I get a commission on this $97 sale. However, my coupon works for only ten sales. So, I thought, why not spend the commission on dinner with the people who use the coupon?

Follow these three simple steps to attend the Marketing Mastery Summit and have dinner with me at some fancy Vancouver restaurant.

  1. Purchase your tickets to the Marketing Mastery Summit
  2. Enter discount code JohnChow to reduce the early-bird price to $97
  3. eMail me a copy of your receipt to johnchow [@] johnchow.com

At this time, I don’t know what my commission is on ticket sales, but I promise to spend all of it, or more, on dinner with you. The coupon expires after ten uses or on Oct 12, whichever comes first. You MUST use the JohnChow coupon code. That is how everything is being tracked. Other coupon codes might get you a $200 discounts, but only this one will get you dinner with me.

This is a great offer and I highly recommend you take advantage of it. I expect to sell this out within the day. See you at the summit.

  1. Hey John,

It sounds tempting. I wonder where that dinner will be. Which restaurant, what kind of food, are drinks included etc.

    1. John Chow says:

I haven’t worked that out yet. It depends on the commission. If it’s $50% then I can afford a more fancy restaurant. If it’s 10%, then it could be McDonald’s! 😛

  7. Hi.

Looking forward for the same thing to happen in this side of the world (in my country, Malaysia is the best). I’ll definitely grab that opportunity. Mean while, Bone appetite John.

  8. Sounds great John. And when I think of earning money on the web I think of John Chow. 🙂

  9. It’s a pity because I can’t join the summit. I’m on opposite side of the World:(

    1. Erwin Miradi says:

    1. Erwin Miradi says:

  12. good point..not the dinner… but to see you as speakers …thank John…

  13. Joao Fylho says:

Its a goog idea, but I live in Brazil.
Hope someday when i move to Canada be with you in a dinner like this one.

  14. People, I should warn you all. I have had a few too many dinners with John and I’m sorry to say but his table manners are just horrible. Last time he was handed 10 napkins and still looked like he fell into the buffet. Besides, he drinks like a thirsty camel. And take off when he starts about karaoke.

Well, it’s still a nice gesture, I guess.

    😛

    1. He can not sing worse than me on the karaoke. 🙂

  15. Legal Shield says:

    Hey John,
I haven’t had dinner with you yet. Couldn’t find any area to input John Chow coupon code for the discount $97 rate.

    1. John Chow says:

It’s right on the order page. Says “enter discount code”

  16. Pst. Bless says:

    thanks for your post

  17. steve Pelman says:

Yes I do admire John for his luck and persistence to cash in on the $270 million advertising budget on the continent that is in review due to social media.
And I admire him for sharing a way to make a living.

But one must keep in mind being successful with a little personal style . Being generous as John is he can really play with style. Like his T shirt at the seminar that says. ” I;m John Chow” Bitch. I would love to be his tailor!

  18. Sounds cool…. look forward to meeting you John, just got my tickets…. see you there!

  19. Allen Young says:

You owe me a dinner in Vancouver John.

    1. John Chow says:

      Sure! Come on up!

  20. They were correct when they said “There is no such thing as a free lunch”.

  21. John, I think there is something wrong with your top commentors widget. I have more than 20 comments and yet my name is not there while someone else’s is there.

  22. I always wanted to go to one of those summits. But all the way in Vancouver? I’m in Los Angeles, so that’s a crucial trip. Haha

  25. Paolo Volpi says:

Where is it located? Is it here in Vancouver? I’ll be glad to attend.

    1. John Chow says:

Why don’t you read the blog post before posting your questions? Then you wouldn’t look so dumb.

  26. Ronald says:

The same problem, I live in Indonesia and a ticket with a few hotel nights will be an expensive free dinner.

    1. John Chow says:

I think there are still 3 tickets left. Try the coupon code. if it still lowers the price to $97, you’re good to go!

  27. Alex says:

Hey john, my airline tickets cost from LAX to canada $200.00 if you pay for the flight, i will pay for the dinner. Deal or no deal??

    1. John Chow says:

I have a better idea. I’ll be in LA next month. Why don’t you buy me dinner there?

  28. Lucian says:

    Hi John,

I tried now to buy a ticket and it says that your discount code “JohnChow” is not available anymore.

Is there any chance to get more?

I’m from Maple Ridge, BC and I really wanted to come to this summit and also meet you.

    Thanks,

    Lucian

  36. its great to have dinner with you am looking for that opportunity

  37. Erwin Miradi says:

Wow that’s a really good deal. But too bad I’m at the other side of the world. Time and distance is the real problem, so I think I’ll pass for now :D.

  38. I just miss it, may be next time.

  39. Panax says:

Nice concept, but I don’t like the name. I see that as a drawback for further expansion of the site.

  40. Panax says:

Personally I do not like their business model. Having only 8 auctions at any one time has several drawbacks. For one, it is very tough to find a domain that you actually want, especially if you are only interested in certain niches.

  41. Panax says:

Secondly, I could see competition being a big problem as all their visitors would be competing for the 1 or 2 decent domains each day. A larger categorized site seems like a much better option. I guess it is more attractive to the domain sellers.

  42. Panax says:

I was interested in what you type. I thank you so much. I wish everyone is like you informed.

  43. Panax says:

es I agree. This concept of 8 site auction a day is what that makes this site great. It is really a huge number of sites.

  44. Panax says:

I had wondered about these things being scams. DO you know of any particular one that are good and trustworthy?

  45. Panax says:
