Hello, Is Anybody There?

I’ve been trying to call Woodward’s to make an appointment to buy one of their 536 condominiums for sale but all I’ve gotten so far are busy signals. I made my first call at 9:30am this morning and got a busy. It’s now 12:30pm and I have yet to get a live person. Well, that’s not true. I did get a live person at 9:35am but that was a wrong number. The person sounds pissed off that I woke him up on his day off.
And wouldn’t you know it, just as I am writing this post I get an email from Woodward’s. It says
Dear Mr. Chow,
BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENTS NOW! WE HAVE RECEIVED OVERWHELMING RESPONSE THIS MORNING, THANK YOU! PLEASE CONTINUE TO KEEP ON TRYING. THERE ARE STILL MANY APPOINTMENTS STILL AVAILABLE.
REMEMBER YOU MUST HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TO PURCHASE ON APRIL 22.
Just when I was about to quit, those bastard sent me a carrot. Let me try calling again right now…. Busy. Bastards.
