Now that we are well into the 2009 calendar year, how are those New Year’s resolutions coming along? Have you managed to lose any weight? Have you saved any money? Maybe one of your resolutions was to get your relationship status in order, finally hooking up with a serious significant other? If that was one of your resolutions, you certainly are not alone.
As such, this is a great time of year to make some money through well-targeted affiliate programs. From diet pills to debt reconciliation programs, you can earn some serious cash from people looking to better their lives. Anastasia International is one such organization and it wants to hook you up with hot girls. Over the course of this review, you may learn if they’re your kind of thing.
Who Is Anastasia International?
Looking at the main homepage for the Anastasia International affiliate program, it’s a little hard to tell right away what they are all about. Checking out the FAQ, we learn that Anastasia International is “the world’s largest International Introduction and Romance Tour Company.” In a nutshell, they connect their clients with “Ladies of the CIS.” It’s not exactly the same as a mail-order Russian bride service, but it’s not all that different either.
Three Affiliate Options to Make Money
As an online entrepreneur, you may not be afforded too many networking opportunities where you can find the woman of your dreams. I’m not exactly sure how effective Anastasia International may be in accomplishing that goal, but you can certainly try to cash in on the people who are willing to give it a try.

The online dating service has three affiliate programs.
With the first, you are paid a commission for every first order that a customer places. You start out with a commission rate of $150 per first sale and this ramps up to $200 and $250 when you reach 10 and 50 first sales, respectively.
With the second, you have the opportunity to earn recurring commissions based on how many “credits” your referred customers purchase. The Anastasia International correspondence system works on credits: each letter they receive or each video they view costs one credit. Commission rates with this program range from $1.50 to $125 per sale.
With either of these first two programs, you can choose to participate in the second tier program. This pays you a 10% commission for attracting new webmasters to the Anastasia International affiliate program.
Statistics for all of these are displayed via the reasonably robust administrator console:

Banners and Promotional Material
Along with regular text links and whatever other promotional methods you may want to attempt, Anastasia International also provides you with a huge range of banners, including 120×240, 300×250, 468×60, Flash, pop-ups, and XML feeds. Here are a couple of examples.
Not surprisingly, the Anastasia International ad banners attempt to use pretty women to entice potential customers. These are mostly going to be lonely guys who’ll be interested in the Russian mail-order brides some womanly contact, so that only makes sense. Is this sleazy? That’s up to you to decide.
Hook Them Up and Get Paid
While the Internet may make it difficult to get the same level of face-to-face contact as we may have had in the past, it also provides a huge opportunity to meet women from around the world.
The website copy could use some serious work as some of its contents are strangely worded (e.g., “With our Per Each Order Program you can earn up to $125 Per Each Order”), but Anastasia International appears to have a sound affiliate program in place. Better still, it can be incredibly lucrative, paying as much as $250 for a single sale. Go ahead. Pimp them out, hook them up, and get paid in the process.

One of the most common complaint (or excuse) I hear from potential new bloggers is they don’t know how to install WordPress. Terms like FTP and CPanel are like a foreign language and setting up a database might as well be setting up the space shuttle for a launch. Because of the technology barrier, many would-be bloggers never start their blogs...

hahaha no thanks il pass =)
Sweet!! Finally they pay me instead of me paying them lol!!!
Er, I’m sure this is really helpful for those looking to make money…
I think this is an all time low…
There is nothing wrong with this; or frankly any porn site either. Porn built the internet; not blogs.
I as well will pass. This must be a joke, right?
Must be a joke if you only read the headline then post a comment to get exposure, yeah.
It is an affiliate program to promote a site sort of like Adult Friend Finder, and they do pay good rates. I don’t have interest in the dating market so this affiliate program is not for me, but it could be successful for anyone who is in this niche
If I get free vodka, sign me up!
What different way to get money, It may not be related with my site sorry
John, you know how to make people laugh :]
Please people, be serious. Is this a joke? Its not April yet, I would think its April fool.
Please tell me that was a paid review…
hahaha Im wondering the same thing and it was written by Michael Kwan not John Chow so I wonder…
Yeah, I thought there’s something weird and it turned out that it was not written by John.
You have got to get some sort of screening process for these paid reviews. This is one step away from reviewing porn sites – “Which porn site gives you the best bang for your buck? (Pun Intended)”
What’s wrong with porn? There’s plenty of money to be made online promoting porn sites. It is after all why the internet was invented
My thoughts exactly.
This guy even contacted me asking me to post a paid review… We exchanged a few emails and then I refused to do this since it was an adult affiliate program… Then he later emailed me asking if he could buy a banner .. I agreed if it wasn’t an adult banner, he hasn’t replied back as yet
But anyways, I din’t expect this from you John.. Why the adult affiliates? :-s
You should maybe post some sort of disclaimer about him? Why did he bail on you? Seems weird on his part you know?
Wow, that’s really cool. I guess banner designs nowadays should also adjust to the trends. All type of banner ads won’t work.. It seems that this kind of trend is new and will be in demand..
Haha what a funny and random idea
I do not know what to say …. but I never expect that I will read such kind of posts from here. I am wordless now.
Oh well, the economy is bad, not too many paid posts anymore… Got to get whatever pays now.
That was a funny review, but I’ll pass on it… because if I follow that recommendation that would actually oppose the very concept of my content
Haha that is really nice good one
Thanks for the funny post… it made my day!
Jon
http://Buzvia.com – Where’s Your Traffic Going?
Yea, I was pretty confused as well but to each his/her own.
This is great! Can you imagine the money you can make putting these on Myspace?
Thanks for the idea.. Gotta try this now
John, have you made any money with Anastasia Affiliate program? After they send you some good checks, please let me know, and I’m in!
If I’ll made good money with Anastasia, I’ll even send you some “thanks” through paypal
Luca.
PS…I know Anastasia for long and I’ve seen before also their affiliate program, it seemed the most serious affiliate program offered by a Russian marriage agency (mail bride order)…
PPS…are you sure they are honest guys and will not clean the customers’ credit cards?
This post seems a bit out of track in your site John. Seems more of kinda paid to post ones. Common, man there are better things to talk about rather than these ones.
Anyways, a quite funny post indeed.
John, i thought i told you to stop messing with them russian ordered brides =P
hey dude, nice review but i will bounce.
CPA never works, trust me.
It doesn’t work for you. Try telling that to Shoemoney or Uber Affiliate or any other super affiliate.
CPA works if the site has lots of traffic.. I mean a lot. And also the traffic has to be specific.
Otherwise CPC is better.
Return is high on CPA but like I mentioned above–you gotta have huge traffic which will give you more possibility of making money..
I m sure that most of you are struggling to make $$$$$ from blogging.
Its not easy to make money as it sounds or as they (all those gurus) show.
You gotta spent and invest your time and some money to make money. Oh–yes talent and luck also counts.
Good Luck
If you think you can make a lot of money without investing a lot of time or money then your fooling yourself.
The reason why all those Gurus make it sound easy is because if they made sound hard then you wouldn’t do it. Also what is hard for you, may or may not be hard for me. In North America we live in a society where most people want the most money for the least amount of work. Everyone is trying to take short cuts and get by with the least amount of time and energy.
Its just not possible. Making lots of money is really only possible by hard work and copying what the already successful people are doing.
Thanks
Julien
I doubt if anyone saying CPA doesn’t work have really tried it. It works for lots of people who really put it to work. So, the question for you who says it doesn’t work is – have you REALLY tried to put it to work for you?
with so many affiliate programs, how many are people supposed to sign up for when you can only have so many ads on a site…the only people that make money will be the ones at the top recommend these sites to others and thereby gaining a commission unless I am missing something here.
Sex sells, what can I say? Definitely one of the more interesting affiliate programs I’ve seen, lol.
Gives a whole new meaning to Cost Per “Action.”
LOL!
Yes sure, sex does sell
Very interesting post….Not quite what I expected to find here but interesting….
I must say no matter how big of a brand you get, quality control is still going to be an important aspect of business.
Vodka + Russian girls, hmmm… anyone has an affiliate link I could use ?
Cheers,
The Moneyac
WOW, I see John is thinking outside the box. Another option for making money online
And that is the final spam crap I can handle. I’m unsubscribing.
Thanks John.
Russian girls reveal great affiliate perspectives…
Unfreaking believable. What next? “white slave girls” affiliate program?
That is why they say the Russian economy is the best in the world…
Wow well I guess they know what they want and how to get it now don’t they ha-ha. I found this well interesting and very funny at the same time. I do like your blogs and what you have to say about everything. You have very good points. But I’m still chuckling over this Russian bride thing!
Sex sure sells… especially of beautiful Russian girls. Interesting. I would surely suggest digging up more facts about Anastasia International before signing up to their affiliate program, though.
Someone needs these girls extremely.
Affiliate Deals like this tend to validate the stereotype of the “sleazy” Affiliate Marketer. Isn’t it possible to earn MEGAbucks by using traditional brands and strategies? Who’s going to step up and be the “Disney” of Affiliate Marketing?
LOL, this is hilarious but intriguing at the same time. But if you can legit make real money with these then I’m all for it. I may look into it sometime later.
I would also like to see what will go out of it.
Just a never ending way to make money.
LOL thanks for the offer
god look at all the comments, seems like the topic created some traffic. have you been hacked by the russian mob. if you have been then offer them pho. got to get the scoop on this at lunch. lol
and i thought my blog lacked taste, no matter how hard i try jc is always going to out do me. Seriously though, you are going to scare your subscribers away, and loose alot of respect with postings like this.
Seriously, why don’t you look at my subscriber base after this post? You’ll see it went up and it’s still going up. When you get to my size, you can give me advice. Until then, I recommend you take my advice. Taste and traffic are not related.
Harsh but honest answer
Wow, what a bunch of “closed” mind attitudes!
I’ve been an affiliate with Anastasia for several years, they always pay and they pay well.
their site is not some kind of “adult/porn” site, it’s a legit dating site, if you’re open minded enough to realise that women from another country are still women!
John should promote whatever he thinks will sell. He only has to justify his income to himself.
Johnny Chow –
Great marketing idea… I’m all about following the big guys until I get big enough that I can follow my own lead.
Sounds like they have big payouts… just a matter of driving some targeted traffic their way.
Matt
That was a funny post. lol
I don’t get all the disgust. It is not a porn site… It is a dating site. If John was promoting eHarmony.com or Match.com, I am sure it would not be getting these kinds of posts. I agree that this site is a little more provocative than most, but that is just good marketing. I guarantee you that there is a HUGE market out this.
This is the first time I’m hearing about this, but like someone else said, this kind of thing does sell.
Hey guys! Anastasia-International has never sold sex. It’s a trustworthy service for men to get marry beautiful Russian ladies. All girls on the site are looking for serious relationships. Our clients pay only for correspondence translation, making phone calls and gifts. Why do you consider our banners adult? Are there girls nude? Do we use words like “F***”?
CPA really works! What you need is to join our Anastasia International Affiliate program, place our promo materials and get commissions. The more quality traffic you bring us, the more money you earn. Note, our audience – men from EU, USA, Canada. If your site caters this group, you’ll definitely get a high income.
