I hope you read my post 2 days ago about the hot new App builder by my buddy Peng Li.
It’s literally a push-button system to magically creating your own app in 12 minutes. Sounds really hard to believe and that seems to be an opinion shared by some of you so guess what. For example, reader Shanker Bakshi made this request.
Ask him to give us a “John Chow” apps, for iOS and Android….let us see how it works.
So, I decided to put the system to the test. Well, turns out Peng Li is an outright liar. I didn’t do it in 12, heck I did it in 7 minutes which goes to show how simple this whole thing really is.
Peng Li has automated app building to a few clicks of a mouse and narrowed it down to 4 simple steps which are shown below.
Step 1 – Find A Cover Photo
Step 2 – Enter Your App Details
Step 3 – Check A Few Boxes
Step 4 – Click GO!
I’m pretty pleased with myself since I’m not the most tech savvy person out there, and if I can have my own app in the Google Play Store, there’s no reason why you can’t as well. Watch the video and let me know what you think. And try to beat my time while you’re at it!

One of the most common complaint (or excuse) I hear from potential new bloggers is they don’t know how to install WordPress. Terms like FTP and CPanel are like a foreign language and setting up a database might as well be setting up the space shuttle for a launch. Because of the technology barrier, many would-be bloggers never start their blogs...

This is amazing John! Thanks for the tips.
I watched the video and it looks like it is really simple.
And now I will try to beat your time!
John,
Creating an app for about 7 mins is unbelievable!
Hey, if I beat your time, I will let ya know lol
I am curious as to whether this can be used to build apps for wordpress blogs only or any site using php and apis for that matter ? From what I understood it allows us to build niche information apps using (I am guessing) rss or something similar ? Information apps with ads.
It can be highly profitable though you build a series of apps and do a lot of free and some paid marketing to build momentum.
The opportunities from the sheer power of the app is immense. Imagine approaching offline businesses to setup their own app for a fixed fee or a recurring to maintain their own app. Thanks John.
Yes, that’s what I do and go find small to medium size businesses and offer a fix rate and have the app done to showcase their business in Android Play Store and Apple App Store.
Wao! that’s great john, I want to try this & is there any option for making my readers stick with my app by providing some games and connecting option to get connected with other most popular apps.
Looks pretty simple John.
I wonder if this app has any effect into this blogging business. Anyway good luck you all guys.
Best Regards from I. C. Daniel – Romania
First app done in 47 minutes. Second app done in 23 minutes. Going for my third one now… this thing is amazing!
i’m interested, but i need to know, how to get my app in front of those hungry downloaders…. that’s the real success….
Hi John,
Thanks for the demo. To be honest, I’ve never been impressed with any of these app-building programs as they seem very limited as to what they can actually do. Unless they can indeed something I’ve missed, it appears that they all do nothing other than put a front end on a given piece of information.
However, your demo has made me realise that perhaps there is a scope for Internet Marketers to use them as a marketing and connectivity tool, perhaps enabling the end user to have everything consolidated in a handy, mobile format and being able to receive updates in real time maybe?
If there’s anything else they can do I’d be greatly interested as I think the concept is certainly interesting
I completely agree with you, Glenn.
There are a whole host of these easy app builders out there and I can’t see past the limitations of their simple ‘landing page-like’ offerings.
I also feel like I’m missing something. Unless I’m actually getting it – that it’s just another money spinner for the developers – and not for the users.
Apps generate money from unknowing consumers and App Builders generate money from unknowing marketers trying to generate money from unknowing consumers?
Hi everyone,
good for you John. 7 min. it is very quick. But I can beat that or at least I can try.
And it is not hard work but fun.
Thanks.
All the best Erwin
This is a really cool App John. Now, let me try to beat your time
it’s like a magic wand; thanks for sharing such wonderful tips; would that I may also do the same
That is super quick.
I have been thinking about trying that. That sounds really easy. Now I’m going to for sure. Thanks John

I’m just glad you didn’t lie and say “How I made a useful app in 7 minutes”.
I’m reminded of the Woody Allen line:
“I took a speed reading course and read ‘War and Peace’ in 20 minutes!
…It involves Russia.”
I noticed it only offered an Android platform yet you claimed it also outputs iOS. Where’s the details about that?
Hi John, great information, but I’m afraid that this application in very basic. Today ho have so many quality application on the market, but for fast creating simple application this is great.
thanks John… your tips help me to create my 1st application for promote my website
