How Not To Roll In Your Bugatti Veyron

written by John Chow on December 14, 2007

Make Money!

For your Friday viewing pleasure, I like to present this “What not to do” video. The video was taken by some person in Las Vegas (I guess he has one of those take anywhere digital camcorder).

Zero to 60 in 2.5 seconds, top speed 253MPH! All that doesn’t matter when this happens to your $1.7 million Bugatti Veyron. The awesome Bugatti Veyron drinks gasoline at a prodigious rate, so the driver should keep an eye on that fuel gauge. Remember, the Internet is watching. And laughing.

It would have been great if the guy that heard him, came over and started messing with him. Haha, I can understand a Hummer or something running out of gas, but this is just dumb and funny!

He can afford a Bugatti I think he can afford gasoline.

SEO Optimization December 14, 2007 at 2:40 pm

Mastermind December 14, 2007 at 12:32 pm

max December 14, 2007 at 8:25 pm

Well, I don’t know about evil, they sounded pretty dumb to me, like bunch of college kids smoking some pot really… Not that I don’t smoke…lol…

Andy December 14, 2007 at 1:26 pm

Yeah, that IS funny! That thing MUST really drink the gas for someone not to notice how low they are getting.

Steven December 14, 2007 at 1:29 pm

You’re lucky, in SA, it would cost you an arm and a leg just to start the thing up!

Zac Johnson December 14, 2007 at 2:28 pm

Gas is still under $3 a gallon here in NJ. Something like cheapest in the country I heard.

max December 14, 2007 at 8:27 pm

Wait, I though this was Las Vegas.

max December 14, 2007 at 8:28 pm

Hey pages are cheaper than gas…lol…

Bathroom Hero December 14, 2007 at 1:32 pm

that’s ironic!

Steven December 14, 2007 at 1:36 pm

What, because he has 1.7m to spend on the car yet he can’t get the gas?

Start Blogging December 14, 2007 at 1:48 pm

Not really ironic, just unfortunate.

interiorexpress December 14, 2007 at 1:46 pm

That’s why I always bring a spare gas can in my Hyundai.

Steven December 14, 2007 at 1:59 pm

Affiliate Unleashed December 14, 2007 at 3:37 pm

Etienne Teo December 14, 2007 at 2:46 pm

People just could not afford petrol after buying the car.

Affiliate Confession December 14, 2007 at 3:09 pm

That’s funny. How many times in your life will you get to see that? I hope he bought lunch for everyone who pushed.

Steven December 14, 2007 at 3:16 pm

Probably not. He’s probably a rich ass****

max December 14, 2007 at 8:26 pm

I agree, why did they even help him in the first place? :?:

Affiliate Confession December 16, 2007 at 12:08 am

Hey, I’d help the guy. Just because he has a $1.7 million car does’t mean he’s an a**.

Steven December 14, 2007 at 3:19 pm

hts December 14, 2007 at 4:42 pm

if you’ve got the $ to buy this car, you should have the money to maintain it and buy fuel for it to drive …or ? …

Mike Huang December 14, 2007 at 5:16 pm

All I can hear is the laughing and nothing else LOL

max December 14, 2007 at 8:27 pm

Yup, looks like another stupid video taken by stupid people.

MoneyWoot December 14, 2007 at 9:18 pm

This is so funny. This guy spent so much money on the car that the gas is not in the budget anymore lol

Aaron Cook Dot Com™ December 14, 2007 at 9:40 pm

Gulp, gulp. gulp.

Contest Beat December 14, 2007 at 9:53 pm

Surely everyone has pushed the limit on their gas?

Carl December 15, 2007 at 1:31 am

Still an awesome car, if you haven’t touched a Bugatti Veyron, you can by helping him/her push it to the petrol stataion  Maybe they will give you a free ride in it, just to run out again and have to fill up.

Carl December 15, 2007 at 1:31 am

station*

Hi-Tech-IT December 15, 2007 at 10:30 am

These are two a penny in Dubai. It’s like “an average car”

Reverse Funnel System December 15, 2007 at 4:46 pm

Haha thats funny

Simon December 18, 2007 at 8:06 am

The most amazing thing about that car, is the manufacturing costs. It costs around $10 million to produce 1 of those cars – so obviously they aren’t in it for the profit, just the engineering challenge.

Who’d have thought a company owned by Volkswagen would do something like that.

Affiliate Confession December 18, 2007 at 8:24 am

Well, if they sell 20 of them they’ll make $28 million in revenue. The $10 million is, I assume, mostly R&D. So at some point they would turn a profit. Companies don’t stay in business by losing money.

Simon December 21, 2007 at 7:45 am

Wikipedia says different. It’s missing a citation, but motoring shows / magazines like Top Gear have confirmed it. Around $10 million USD (£5 million GBP) production cost per car.

VW were willing to take a loss because they wanted to see whether 400kph would be achieved, and they are only handmaking a few of these cars.

The Skinny On January January 2, 2008 at 9:24 pm

That is totally fitting in this day and age.
