The following video was a promo taken from Generation Social: A Documentary Film, which will air on CBC television on August 18.
Generation Social is a film about how our inherent social nature drives cultural change and some of the people who drive that change. The film takes you from Emily Carr University’s new Social Media Centre to SXSW with startup HootSuite and finally into the home office of a Dot Com Millionaire (that’s me).
I am not sure how much of the three days of filming will make into the show. However, I do know the part about how to dress like a Dot Com Mogul will be in it because they created this promo. Enjoy!
If you wish to get your own DVD copy of Generation Social: A Documentary Film, you can reserve it at Kick Starters for only $15. If you live in Canada, you can watch it on the CBC on August 18. Check your local listing for the air time. However, I’m sure you’ll watch a personal DVD copy as well.

One of the most common complaint (or excuse) I hear from potential new bloggers is they don’t know how to install WordPress. Terms like FTP and CPanel are like a foreign language and setting up a database might as well be setting up the space shuttle for a launch. Because of the technology barrier, many would-be bloggers never start their blogs...
