I just went into your blog. Your blog is a specialist blog [medical]. How can a normal person leave a comment on your blog? Low traffic is normal.
To improve? May try to use a blog log, let your visitor to sign in. You also can sign in other people’s blog log. Visit back to people who sign into your blog.
Leave common on other people’s blog [that creat a link to make search engin easier to find you].
Search engine submition, web directory submition.
P.S. Don’t expect a lot of traffic! Your blog’s audiance is limited.

I believe every webmaster have their own bag of trade. They will say their seo method will be the best because they do a lot of research, if they want to sell you. However, Google’s page ranking rule is keep changing, the seo special method work today may not work tomorrow. If general rule of seo method, I’ll go to the rule writer’s site Google.
Also, google is not the only player on search engine business, you should not over concentrate on just please google.
I found out that local business concentrate on local search engine will give better result [compare the effort you put].

I’ll agree everybody would love to have extra traffic to their site. However, the expectation of the traffic should be realistic. How about using the local phone company directory web site traffic to your business sector as a reference [ apply to local small business web site].
Other type of web site I have no idea.
I believe marketing the right market sector to get actual sales is better than pure traffic.

Very good decision to offer a sample download, because at this point in the game there is so much free information out there. Hell in HERE even, with John Chow’s book. So I’ll do a reading with an open mind.
