How To Make Real Money with Google AdSense

written by John Chow on February 22, 2012

Secure Affiliate Marketing

It would be hard to find a blogger or website owner who never tried Google AdSense, right? Yet if you ask around you might get the impression that most people only make pennies with it. Does it mean that AdSense doesn’t work and that making decent money with it is impossible? Not at all. In fact if you search around you’ll find people who make a lot of money with AdSense.

One of those people is my friend Daniel Scocco from Daily Blog Tips. Daniel makes over $10,000 monthly with AdSense alone (See the screenshot of his earnings below), and a while ago he was featured on Google’s AdSense blog as a success story. Today he’s launching a course for those who want to start making some real money with AdSense.

The course lasts 6 weeks, and the 6 modules covered are:

  1. AdSense Basics: Understanding how the program works and what things are supposed to do and not to do.
  2. AdSense Optimization: How to choose the right units, how to position them efficiently, how to format the ads for maximum CTR and so on.
  3. Keyword Research: How to estimate traffic from Google, how to choose profitable keywords, how to develop a better content strategy for your websites and so on.
  4. Search Engine Optimization: Everything you need to know about search engines and optimizing your sites for better rankings.
  5. Website Promotion: How to promote your websites and increase your traffic consistently over time.
  6. Buying Websites for AdSense: Where to find the best deals, how to conduct the negotiation, how to tweak the sites once you bought them and so on.

Daniel told me he will be personally reviewing and making suggestions for the blogs/websites of the students, so this is also an opportunity to get advice straight from him. Make sure to check it out today as registrations will close by the end of this week. Here’s the link.

One of the key to making a ton of money with adsense is make sure you providing the right content! In the right niche! I mean some niches pay way more than others! I was creating a video earlier today and I notice how much it cost to do video and i was shocked! But Anyway, here is a cool article that I think would make a great read about membership sites! http://cashflowmillionarie.com/blog/a-home-business-making-money-with-membership-websites/.html

I’ve always been a follower since day one. Daniel provides great seo tips as well as making money from adsense. Since starting my blog, I spend countless hours on his blog in order to get a good glimpse of how SEO is like.

Another person who says he earns more than $ 400 per day, you only need to buy his course for $ 97, of course he earns $ 400 per day, he need just 4-5 people who believe in him and his daily income is clear.

having a good layout and choosing the right type of ad units are only the icing on the cake

in order to have a successful adsense site you need to focus on the foundations. Those being the market you choose to enter and your niche. After all it doesnt matter how good your site is or how good your site looks if you are in the wrong niche or its too competitive then your going to struggle from day 1

focus mainly on choosing a profitable adsense niche, making sure you are able to rank without having to spend an obcene amount of money on link building and make sure your chosen market or niche actually has plenty of traffic. Lastly make sure the cpc of your keywords or niche is good otherwise it wont be worth your time and you will need a tonne of traffic to make anything worth while

daniel seems to be doing well, he has some good daily earnings on there

good post john

I remember my first blog with Adsense on it. I was still a student that time. In 2 years I only got $40… whoa! Gee that was frustrating…

Thanks for the cool post John :)

So I have adsense account of 4 yrs which has 11 Euro in it. The main problem I faced was driving traffic. You need a hell of traffic to succeed with it. I will definitely try it once again if I can build a high traffiked site. Rather I am making some money with Clickbank in my own way which I mentioned in my blog dess.me

John, I thought you said before that Adsense suck now and that you should sell the real product.  To have any success with Adsense your website will need to be below 10,000 Alexa.  That’s almost impossible nowadays.  I remember John Chow dot Com used to be 2,000 Alexa.  And please can someone tell me why my BkacLink kept on linking back to livefyre.  John, go back to your old commenting system.  livefyre is horrible.

Dhara Mistry March 2, 2012 at 11:26 am

@Nathan Vu Hey Nathan, if you go to your profile settings here http://www.livefyre.com/profile/edit/info/ and add your site to “Other Sites” section, your username will backlink to your site. Let us know if you’ve any questions for us, we’ll be happy to help.
