There is no time like the present!! The quicker you do it and start habitualizing (is this a word?) your efforts, the greater your return will be.

You kinda have to expect the copycats because people by themselves - left to their own devices - will not think outside of the box, or even find a way to make something slightly different than it already is. People want what is the easiest, but they don't realize that it's self-sabotage.

You remind me of the Price Is Right. Maybe he could do a contest with now retired Bob Barker, oh! Imagine the hits that would generate!

hi there!

I created two contest recently on my sites, they are for $50 in Barefoot Books. I was wondering the best way to get my contests noticed? I wish I could give a bigger prize, but I was hoping that the odds were still pretty good to win.

I'm doing it with two of my sites:
1. pajamamom.com runs until july 31 here are more details:
http://lifesalad.blogspot.com/2007/07/yippee-i-can-believe-it.html
-----a slightly different contest at my other site:
2. maine mamas
http://mainemamas.com
which will only take 50 participants...

I hope some of you will find the contest to fit into your own sites and if you know somewhere to post about this blog contest, I appreciate it!

Best Wishes,
Delphine

[...] What’s in it for the people running the contest? I read John Chow’s blog every day. The information is always worth reading - I don’t let my disappointment at his zero response to my make money online review post get in the way of the overall high quality of his posts. He suggests that running blog contests is a good way of grabbing more readers and making money. [...]
