One of the bad thing (or good, depending on how you look at it) of being a Dot Com Mogul is I don’t keep track of holidays. Not having to punch a time clock or do the 9 to 5 routine means pretty much every day is a holiday for me. The only holiday dates I know by heart is Christmas and New Years – all the others holiday dates I have no idea.
Turns out this coming Monday (August 7) is BC Day. How did I find out that Monday will be a holiday? I was at the bank depositing a few checks and talking with the teller, he asked me what I was doing for the long weekend? My reply was “It’s a long weekend?” The teller answered “Yes it is! You don’t have to work, do you?”
No, I don’t.
