Hunting Pandas At The Shanghai Wild Animal Park

written by John Chow on May 31, 2008

Make Money!

It seems that Shanghai is so big that one zoo isn’t enough. The Shanghai Wild Animal Park doesn’t have as much animal as the Shanghai Zoo but it’s almost as big. Unlike the Shanghai Zoo, the Shanghai Wild Animal Park doesn’t keep all the animals in cages. Most run free in fenced off park areas. This gives the animals a lot more space to roam around and be like normal wild animals.

You travel through the park in tour buses and observe the animals as they do what animals do, which most of the time, is nothing. Other sections of the park are viewed on foot or tram cars. That’s where they keep the non-dangerous animals. There’s also an animal show and a amusement park with rides and a big ferris wheel.

If you're ever in San Diego I suggest skipping the San Diego Zoo and going to the San Diego Wild Animal Park. It' much larger and more entertaining in my opinion.

keep it up good video

pandas  are tasty

Entertaining as always, But isn't this a webmaster blog ? Correct me if i am wrong ?

Is that Zoo really big or its your Shooting skills that makes it big John?

LMFAO! I could've sworn that "Ligers" were fake! If you ever watched Napoleon Dynamite, you would know what I mean :P

-Mike

I saw the documentary on the Ligers (nova or NG or something) and they are real. They are also huge, they could easy fit an adult head inside their mouth without an issue. Their paws are also larger than the average man's head (if there is an average head size)

I would _hate_ for it to get angry and attack something....

Maybe these Ligers can easily fit a mans head in their mouths, but "without an issue"?

I would certainly have a issue if it was my head!

Crazy how top-notch blogging has become an endless stream of videos of animals. But, hey, it's rakin' in the CASH!!

Monkeys have tails great apes don't. Wasn't always into making money online-started out in anthropology. Still, I was pretty surprised to see that chimp open that drink and take a swig!

Also surprised you didn't expect that ostrich to take a peck at you-or maybe you did...

Great video John

But I am not quite sure that throwing a plastic drink bottle into an animal enclosure is a good idea.

When I read the title i was surprised, but it catched my attention.

Can I adopt a monkey for me? or maybe a panda?

Interesting. I don't believe I've ever seen a Liger!

And I'd ridden a horse like that. I almost fell off though.

PANDAS are at the verge f extinction & you like eating them

I thought Ligers were something Napoleon Dynamite made up? lol

That's where I first (and ever have) heard about them too.

Yes thanks for the tour without spend money to go to zoo...

Yeah, and having to travel across the world too! Haha.

Finally, video's aren't so bad in a blog....
Its been a while a didn't visit any zoo,
Thanks for the tour.

You know, even if you did bag a panda, y oumight have a hard time getting it on the plane without anyone noticing.

hey john.
you don't like panda at all or this is just a joke?

I love Pandas! They taste like chicken!

After you say that I think I'll try one sometime!

Oh that's cool you get to see Ligers. They are HUGE! But then again why would humans breed lions with tigers anyway? lol

Oh John hope you got me a panda! You can mail it via fedex to my place!

If anything happens to any Pandas in China you can bet you'll see John's face plastered all over the news. Mobs of people will take to the streets with torches and pitch forks hunting for John Chow.
~Terry

John,

Nothing really special there, except the pandas themselves - Good coverage, though :)

Root of all evil, haha I like it.

Haha that's pretty sweet

This is a complement. I am a huge fan of your videos. After watching to 20-25 videos, I finally figured it out -- your voice sounds like Ray Romano. It is the pitch and cadence.

You can see the bloodlust on his face as soon as pandas are mentioned.

You shoud have thrown that monkey a couple of beers.

A drunken monkey
He looked pretty lonely in there. John should have found him a mate.

Or he should have bought him a computer he could read John's Blog plus would get to see himself on internet(Free popularity), wont get bored!
