Infolinks Launches New Search Widget

Infolinks, the leader in in-text advertising, has released a new Search Widget feature to their network. This will help increase the revenue that publishers are already making with Infolinks.

We are pleased to announce the official launch of the Infolinks Search Widget!

Search Widget targets only visitors arriving to your website from a Search Engine (such as Google, Bing, Yahoo and others.) Our new widget will appear for those visitors only, and will present them with ads related to their search. It’s a guaranteed click magnet!

How Search Widget Works

Let’s say the term “Gourmet Chocolate” is entered in a Google Search and the visitor arrives at a website empowering Infolinks Search Widget. Then the following banner unit will appear at the bottom of the page:

Infolinks’ smart algorithm powers this new Search Widget, but because of the nature of the new “click magnet” you can expect even better results. Search Widget targets organic traffic, and delivers ads pertaining exactly to the search term that brought visitors to your website.

Implementing Search Widget

There’s nothing you need to do to add Infolinks Search Widget to your blog. If you’re already an Infolinks publisher, Search Widget will be automatically enable in your account. All new publishers will have Search Widget enabled by default.

If you decide to disable Search Widget from your site, do the following:

  • login to your account
  • click the red “New” button at the top navigation bar
  • select “Search Widget” from the top menu
  • un-check the “Yes” checkbox and within 10 minutes, Search Widget will be removed from all of your websites instantly

If you have more than one website in your Infolinks Network, you can further customize which sites Infolinks Search Widget does appear.

  1. Hi John,
Thanks for the post. This sure does seem like a pretty sophisticated widget. It is really customizable as well from the sounds of it. I have not used infolinks though as of yet. Thanks for the information.

    1. Yes they are labouring hard to make their products more and more user friendly.

Recently their safari promotion was quite popular.

    2. Dealbulous says:

I love their PPC advertising as I could spend lesser compared to Adwords. Definitely a good alternative.

  7. Dealbulous says:

I wonder how well do they pay the publishers with this new feature.

  8. fas says:

They are doing quite well, offering new things most of the time.

  9. I had removed infolinks from my site several months ago due to the low earnings on it. If the search box would generate higher click rates than I may reconsider re-installing infolinks.

Thanks for the heads up John.

    1. Erwin Miradi says:

Well, that’s actually why a lot of webmaster decided not to use infolinks. It’s because the payment for clicks is not worth the low bounce rate we received. Maybe the case is different for different keywords.

  10. Timothy says:

It’s an irritating pop-up that can distract form real money makers on our sites. I generally only allow one infolink in my content.

When that search box was automatically forced on my page, I was ticked off.

There’s no telling how many high ranking Google Adsense clicks that were missed or affiliate products that I missed commissions on.

When I discovered the thing at the bottom of my pages, I went directly to Infolinks and complained, along with asking them to remove it.

    1. Erwin Miradi says:

Yeah. I can tell that would be the problem if I use infolinks too. That’s one of a reason why I still don’t use it.

  11. P.A.D. says:

I just noticed this new widget but was unsure whether it would add value to my site without being annoying to visitors. I’ll give it a try and see what kind of results i get.

    Thanks John

  12. fazal mayar says:

thats a good ugprade from infolinks, they keep getting better & better!

    1. Erwin Miradi says:

Yeah they develop their system pretty fast.

  13. Allen Cerezo says:

The new search widget performed well on my blogs since I’m getting traffic from Search Engines. This widget only appears if your traffic came from SEs and not on direct traffic. I quit Infolinks but suddenly return because of the search widget. And my earnings increased by 600%. And that’s true.

  14. Mochamad says:

This post is very interesting for me. Thank John.

  15. My infolinks income is not performing so well. It is quie slow and too little. 🙂

    1. Is it?? I just earn $5 in 3 months.. And in adsense i earned $450 in the same time..

      1. Party Ideas says:

Rajib Ad sense and info links is not no competition,Adsense is a king & Infolinks is also good for own place .

      2. Erwin Miradi says:

John is not the first who recommend Infolinks. So I think there must be a way to earn the most out of infolinks, which I myself don’t know. That’s why I also stopped using Infolinks for now and focus on Adsense.

    2. Erwin Miradi says:

Of course it works. They won’t launch it if doesn’t work. The question is, does it earn you decent income?

  16. I’ve been trying it for a little now. I cant say I have noticed a huge leap in my earnings from infolinks but it is a good idea and hopefully it will pay off soon

  17. Info link trying best to get more customer and trying to make their position strong like google.

    1. Party Ideas says:

Well said Buy & i’m a big fan of info links & info links leads the industry with an attractive business model and guarantees the highest revenue sharing basis to all partners.

  18. Erwin Miradi says:

Nice nice. I see that infolinks keeps on updating its service. I’m not using infolinks yet for some reasons. But this widget looks really great anyway. Thanks for sharing it John.

  19. Yap.. i already got this news.. thanks for share..

  20. Unizik says:

My infolinks revenues is too small, like 0.01$ , can you imagine.

  21. Party Ideas says:

Impressive post & infolinks is also In-Text ads complete the contextual web ad experience.

  22. Party Ideas says:

You above mentioned the widget search really impressive thing & Widget is a tiny application, almost like a mini-website. Bundle of thanks for the fantastic post.

  23. David says:

Great post, never tried before, but think i’ll have to give it a go… Keep up the good work.

  24. infolinks become bigger and bigger I hope it can draw the same like adsense and become the best alternative of it.

  25. Rajiv says:

Will have to check out what difference it will create now.

  26. infolinks besides adbrite and Chitika is almost same good products, paid on time but I think I have not heard big success stories people making real money

  27. Hi John, I see that you are quite active writing about infolinks these few days. I have been trying infolinks on my blogs but still the income is small but it is better than nothing. 🙂 I like adsense a lot though.

  28. Dota360 says:

I’m check in Search widget….But 2 day…When i search from google to my site, Search Infolinks not show in footer…..Why ????

  29. David says:

Its good too from where the visitor comes from. A great upgrade of Infolinks. Keep it up…

  30. definitely infolinks is a good solution for in-text advertisement. even I have implemented the same in my blog. But I have observed that the pay per click is very-very less as compared to adsense.

  31. This widget help us to get the result easily

  32. David says:

Another great post, never tried infoloniks myself, and there seems to be alot of positive response to them, thanks again and please keep up the good work…
