Interview with John Chow (almost)

written by John Chow on August 30th, 2007

Ian Fernando has posted a video interview he did with me. The funny thing is I can’t remember doing this interview. Anyways, I figure you might enjoy this interview while I wait for Greg to upload my interview with Leo Laporte.

  1.  i really thought it will be a real interview! ahaha

  2. dcr

Scary and disturbing. But, at least he gets to experience the John Chow Effect!

  3. I am dying to see your interview with Leo. This video was a good appetizer. :)

  4. Dude work on your audio next time …

    funny pics though

  5. When someone does something like that…

    You know you’ve made it!

I’m waiting for my day when someone conducts an interview using my pictures. :o

  6. You should do a complete (not almost) interview video John! Maybe the John Chow podcast? I thought about doing a weekly video like problogger does, except my subject is…well skiing not as popular as making money

  7. If he pronounced John’s last name properly it would have been convincing.

  8. YC

Pretty funny in a way – but the audio needs to be up a notch

  9. I thought everyone knew how to say Chow. Good idea to get a JC link back I guess.

  10. Max

That is pretty good. I’d give him a high thumbs up for making that video. Well, maybe John will start posting all the youtube videos that we start making with his pictures….
Thinking of, I have a great idea for some funky videos. (Hint: use Photoshop)   My evil roots are coming alive!

  11. Flame him all you want but I thought it was at least creative.

    Good job Ian.

  12. It was creative work from ian, using screenshots and video to do a interview.

  13. Max

John, I am making a video response to the above video, it’s got no photos but maybe you will find it interesting?

  14. ian

    great video, very creative!

  15. Ahah great idea Ian… got you posted on JohnChow.Com, mission accomplished!

Now if John was so amused by this that he’ll grant you a real interview, you’ve really hit the jackpot!

  16. John – Thanks – I knew this would catch your attention soon! For everyone I will take in your ideas – especially with the audio. I just started video marketing and I was just experimenting, as it was a second video that I made – maybe I just need a better camera, sorry for pronouncing your last name wrong too John my apologies.

  17. Jeez John, how did you not remember your own interview?!?!

You must have drank too many of those small wines…

  18. Very clever, good job on getting the John Chow effect for free :)

  19. LOL Nice!!! good editing.

  20. That was pretty creative!

  21. At least John has a sense of humor about the interview.

  22. funny interview. great stuff Ian.

  23. Maybe John could do a weekly video post responding to readers questions on how to make money – a quick one minute tip for the week? Just a thought but after watching the video it got me thinking.

  24. That is a creative linkbaiting method ;)
