Lumiere did close for a few months, for remodeling. Since then they have been booked out. West beat out Lumiere last year for Restaurant of the year and Rob wants that title back. So he shut the place down for 3 months and spent almost $1 million redoing it. When Sarah and I went to check out the new Lumiere after it reopen, it looked almost the same as the old. Turns out he spent most of the money in the kitchen.

Your use of the term “noodle runs” reminds me of why I don’t eat there anymore.. ugh…

I’m sure it’s fine now.. but still, every time I consider eating there, I get flashbacks of.. well, you don’t wanna know..
