IZEA Fest 2008 - Opening Night Party
IZEA Fest 2008 kicked off in Orlando last night with a great opening night party at the Grand Bohemian Hotel. We showed up late for the party because our plane didn’t land until 7:15PM. The party started at 7:00PM and was in full swing by the time we showed up at around 8:30PM.
It was great to meet everyone again. I managed to catch up with Ian Fernando, Zac Johnson, Jason from Tech Ware Labs, Nate from Unique Blog Designs, Neil Petal and Shoemoney, who challenged me to see who can grab the most cash from the Market Leverage Cashinator at Blog World Expo next week. It was pretty much like a family reunion and in many ways, it was. I also met many people for the first time. The most notable being Brian Clark of Copy Blogger and John Reese.
Shoe will be opening IZEA Fest with his keynote at 9:00AM this morning. I will be joining him, along with Neil Petal, Stephanie Agresta and Drew Bennett for the Big Money Bloggers panel at 1:00PM this afternoon. I’m sure someone will be live blogging the event. Sarah will be putting the Flip to good use.

An hour and a quarter turn around isn’t bad at all. Looks like a good laugh but I still think these events need more beer!

Reply to this commentThese days you think that a live streaming video would happen at these kind of events. It is really easy to setup and with the kind of money that people like John Chow have you would think they could do this.
