John Chow dot Com Version 3

written by John Chow on September 9th, 2008

Keep your eyes open for a new John Chow dot Com. Version 3 is coming! Expect to see the new theme before I leave for IZEA Fest this Thursday.

As I write this, Unique Blog Designs is putting the finishing touches John Chow dot Com V3. I really like what Nate Whitehill and his team has produced. The new theme will offer many new features and help to reinforce and promote the John Chow dot Com brand.

If all goes well, I am hoping to launch the new theme tomorrow. Failing that, the new theme will goes live during my “Big Money Bloggers” panel at IZEA Fest. Keep an eye out for it and if you’re going to IZEA Fest, I’ll see you there!

Yeh John,
Do you think that this will help increase your monthly income serval times???
Would a new theme on my entrepreneurs blog increase my income or should I wait till I have more readers????

Abdul,

Just sit back and watch John hit $40K easily next month. Yo won’t be dissapointed.

Abdul, the design matters a lot. Besides content, I think that the design of a blog is the most important thing in blogging.

Just wait to see the version 3 of this blog. I`m sure that John will earn at least 40K every month with his new visual theme.

You’d be surprised, it doesn’t look like John is doing anything too radical however moving a few key elements and making a site a little more user friendly does wonders. The same applies to moving advertisers sometimes all it takes is a small movement in ad placement to make or break it.

Can’t wait to see the new design. The guys over at UBD do a great job.

I am going to have them do mine whenever my blog brings in that kind of income. In the meantime, my modified Fresh News theme from Woothemes is doing very well.

The screenshot that John posted looks like the design is same and there is just a switch of layout!
Well let’s see if the rest of the theme is I think it is!

I remember you telling me this. I can’t wait to see it. The top preview looks so much better than the top of the current layout. Much more organized & clean.

And I see you added the Twitter follower widget.

I’m interested to see the design as well. Make sure to keep track of some of the different traffic and ad metrics. I’d be interested to see the analysis of what the changes do for you.

Yea I’m pretty curious about that!
What effect could a design have over traffic and income?
Although it could impress many visitors at first sight!

Cool! Looking forward to the new design. Is this partially happening because of theme compatibility with the newest version of wordpress?

No, UBD was working on the new theme before the new Wordpress came out.

Lesson number 177564 from The Master: when a thousand different blogs in your niche change the theme to copycat yours, is about time to change once again!

I hope you are ready for V4 already!

Let’s bet: how long will it take to the copycats to change themes to look like the new John Chow V3??

The new theme is starting to look really good just from what you have shown us. I edit my theme in little bits as I can afford it. $15 here, $30 there…soon it will be just hw I want it.
