Join Me At IzeaFest

written by John Chow on April 25th, 2008

Are you looking for an excuse to escape the work-a-day life and party down with some of the biggest bloggers in the world? Then come to sunny Orlando, Florida this September 11-13 for IzeaFast! IzeaFest is the event to connect, meet and learn from some of the best known bloggers in the world. Best of all, it cost next to nothing!

I will be speaking as part of the “Big Money Bloggers” panel along with Jeremy Schoemaker, Neil Patel and Stephanie Agresta. This will be the can’t miss session of the entire show. You can see the full event schedule here.

Priced So Low, You Have To Go!

The most amazing thing about IzeaFest is the price - just $50 for the first 50 people. It goes up to a still very affordable $65 after the first 50. Not only does this fee cover all the sessions, it also includes the opening party with open bar and a bag full of swag! Bloggers wishing to continue the party can join us for a Blogger Takeover day at Universal Orlando for another $79.12.

You are not going to find another event like this anywhere in the world for this low a price. Mark September 11-13 on your calendar now and makes plans to be there. You will not regret it! I’ll be staying a few extra days to check out the sights and sounds of Orlando. Disney World, here I come!

ditto, this is probably one of the first bigger blogger-related events I’d actually think about attending. Plus, it’s a great excuse to hang out at Disney world.

A good idea pricing it so low - it will probably attract a lot of smaller bloggers who will probably give it a lot more coverage than what occurs at the more expensive events.

Am I the only one who thinks this is a little ironic coming from someone who I thought was anti-PayPerPost?

He’s an anti-Payperpost?

I only know that his an anti-Google.

I don’t know if he still is, but he was anti-PPP for a while because the paid posts produced by most “posties” were low quality and really had nothing to do with the paid advertiser other than the paid links. Publishers who accept offers from ReviewMe, on the other hand, typically offer more value to the advertiser.

Hello John,

I will be the moderator of the panel that you are participating in. I look forward to meeting you in September. I’ll e-mail you closer to the event to discuss the panel.

I just checked out the IzeaFest conference page and see that it’s being held at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Orlando and all I have to say is wow, this place is incredible. It’s going to be a nice place to have a conference.

Looking forward to seeing you at the Event John, It should be a blast.

I do want to clarify one thing. The cost does include the sky pool party with open bar and finger foods on Thursday night, but lunch and dinner will be up to each attendee. We will arrange some discounts at local establishments.

Being as I’m 15, I don’t think I can go. Can I? That would be superb, considering I live 3 hours by car away from Orlando, and my sister lives in Orlando. Does anyone know about this? I think It’d be good for my blog, http://monkeyblogger.com to be there. :)

Space is limited. Once it’s sold out, that’s it. So, register as soon as you find out you can go.

I am very shocked. I don’t know what to say.

Not only am I shocked that other people work hard all life long and get nothing. I am shocked that you actually waste food, while most people on earth suffer because of a lack of food. You should be punished for crimes on humanity.

Does this happen every year? Is thyere one in Europe or do you guys fancy doing a worls tour? I bet there would be some money in it, you could be as popular as those Star wars people I have heard so much about.

Clog Money:

Yes, this is an annual event. Last year we hosted it in Las Vegas; this year, obviously, in Orlando. Right now there’s not one in Europe — maybe sometime in the future!

We actually did a “Blog America Tour” last year. Perhaps we’ll do another one at some point.

The tickets are a good deal as well.

Yes, we likely will. At last year’s event we had a live stream, live chat, and were Twittering. We should have all the bases covered!

I was stood up by John Chow… Sounds like a book title or an idea for a new site. Just playing. I was just released from my job following our lab’s closure. I currently am looking for a new job, so I have plenty of time to join the conventions. Just send a limo/plane my way and I’ll be there

Why?
I understand that networking is an important part of blogging but I don’t think that any of the sessions are going to give me any information I couldn’t find online and I would probably have just as much luck networking with people online as I would networking with those at IzeaFest.

If you have to ask why, then you’re not ready to join the ranks of bloggers who can live off their blogs.

John,

I, too, am very excited to have you on board for our event. It’s going to be an amazing three days of networking, connecting, and just having a good time.

Note to all your readers: we’ve extended the “Early Bird” offer to the first 100 folks, but it ends today (May 14th). Spots are filling-up very quickly so I’d recommend folks to act fast!
