Just In Time for Lunch – V8 Powered Blender

written by John Chow on November 17th, 2008

Leave it to those nuts at Top Gear to come up with the world’s most powerful blender. Top Gear took the 430HP 6.2L V8 off a Corvette and used it to power a blender that can blend pretty much anything. Stuff that you normally wouldn’t consider blending, like a brick, turns to liquid really quick when you fire this baby up. It even comes with a gas pedal! Kinda puts my $600 Vita-mix to shame.

  1. Matt

    Gotta love top gear.

This is from yesterdays show. Do you guys in America / Canada get Top Gear?

I read a while back that the Americans were going to make their own version? :/

  2. This is insane. Cool video.

  3. How hungry are you to use a V8 machine for blender? :D
    Anyway, I like the video.

  4. This is extremely pointless and a waste of money…but really really cool.
    I want one

  5. LOL at blending a brick :D

btw does youtube not allow you to fast forward?

  6. Cool video. I couldn’t stop laughing. Thank you for sharing.

  7. John, very cool video! I’m hunkered down, trying to predict when buying begins again, how to position myself to profit from the turn-around down here in the USA.

DO NOT LET MICHAEL KWAN NEAR THIS BLENDER, I’m begging you !!!!!!

  8. hahahaha i want one hahaha

  9. John, I just blogged about Sir Richard Branson, who is now following me on Twitter (!)

He recently launched a new book, ‘Business Stripped Bare’, and his advertising campaign was…well unique.

Here is the link to my blog: http://donotreadthisblogunless.blogspot.com/

with the link to the book release video at the bottom of my post.

  10. Good find. Thanks for the share.

  11. and how will this blender help us all make money online ? (other than perhaps making your Vita-Mix blender a tax deduction since I suppose it could (cough cough) be considered a review and as such… a business expense. :P

  12. They drank it! I can’t believe they even put it up to their lips…

  13. Watched this on TopGear on Sunday, great show! If it weren’t for the brick that was mushed up among the other bits and pieces I would have probably had a sip myself.

  14. We have a VitaMix as well and it’s awesome, but the V8 powered one beats the snot out of it.

  15. John, very cool video, I can’t believe they even put it up to their lips…

  16. John Chows next video “Panda smoothies”

  17. lol

  18. That’s totally bad-ass! I could make some killer smoothies in that thing. :)
