Let’s Make a DealDotCom

How to make $593 in less than one hour

The Woot! of Internet Marketing products

DealDotCom is so new, it hasn’t even launch yet. The site will officially go live on Tuesday, September 18. Billing itself as the Woot! for Internet marketing products, DealDotCom will sell anything and everything related to building an online business, increasing traffic, monetizing your websites, blogging, web design… in short, things that you guys are looking for! DealDotCom has spent the past 4 months stalking big-name (and not-so-big-name) Internet Marketers who sell high-quality products, and convincing them to let them sell it at huge discounts.

Just like the mega discount site, Woot!, DealDotCom will only have one product for sale each day. It’ll be for sale at an insanely low price, and there will be an extremely limited number of copies available. That product will only be available until it sells out, or until midnight the next night, when they will pull it down and start selling a new product.

Sell Your Products Through DealDotCom

If you have an Internet marketing product, then DealDotCom opens another sales channel for you. Their Woot! style setup means they can move large quantities of products in a very short time frame. However, you’ll have to offer a very good deal.

The name of this website – DealDotCom… the operative word here being DEAL. Whatever you’re selling through us must be an actual DEAL. Offering $10 off a $500 product is definitely not a deal. Likewise, allowing us to sell your $47 product for $97, and letting us keep the extra fifty bucks is most certainly not a deal.

One of The Best Affiliate Programs on The Net

DealDotCom offers a two-tier affiliate program. When you refer others to DealDotCom and they get a free account, they are marked in the system as having been referred by you. Anything that they buy will nets you a 35% commission. Unlike other affiliate programs that place a time limit your commission (like AuctionAds’ 5% for 6 months), the DealDotCom commission is forever. That’s right, forever. It doesn’t matter if they buy something tomorrow, next week, or fifty years from now – you’re going to get paid. What’s more, anyone that they refer to DealDotCom goes on your second tier. Anything people on your second tier buy nets you a 15% commission, forever.

DealDotCom pays its affiliates 30 days after the end of the month by PayPal. They can also send you a check via snail mail if you’re still living in the dark ages. This is by far one of the best affiliate deals I have ever came across and I highly recommend you take advantage of it. I will be adding DealDotCom to my recommended money makers.

 Wow, this is cool. It’s nice that there’s an affiliate program… I’ll sign up for this.

SEO Optimization September 14, 2007 at 6:51 pm

Oh well, I thought its cool to. And i still think it is cool, as long as i can find products in discount prices :P

Shaun Connell September 14, 2007 at 10:20 pm

I’m wondering how you get money in the affiliate program. Hopefully you get money for sales, too… that would be cool.

John Chow September 14, 2007 at 10:31 pm

Yes, you get money for sales.

Making The Money September 15, 2007 at 6:14 am

Thanks for that, can’t wait to get going with this one.

Shawn Knight September 14, 2007 at 5:33 pm

Sounds like a win-win situation, even though I don’t have anything to sell at this point. Perhaps I could pass along the info to my readers and make some extra bucks in commission at the same time :)

Jug September 14, 2007 at 5:38 pm

Me too, I’ve got nothing to sell, but I’m thinking that the affiliate program might make me some money. I’ll be signing up to use the affiliate program and let’s see if DealDotCom pays me.

Deepak Dutta September 14, 2007 at 5:42 pm

I liked Woot. Definitely a good concept. Will check out DealDotCom. Hope it will offer some high quality stuff. For digital product, I don’t see any problem for the publisher to release just one copy for an insanely low price.

Lincoln September 14, 2007 at 5:55 pm

I signed up as an affiliate too (but through Andy Beard, so you get no cut of the profits John, nyah nyah!)

I really hope they’ll offer QUALITY prodicts like they promise though, and not nonsense like “30,000 backlinks for only $10″ which of course will earn you a quick -950 penalty from Google.

Jug September 14, 2007 at 6:18 pm

I think the products will be good, it seems that the DealDotCom people are working hard to make it a success. I’ll definitely buy some stuff if ever the prices will be really reasonable.

I published a blog post about DealDotCom on my blog, can anyone sign-up under me? C’mon people, John Chow is too rich already.

Fou Casper September 14, 2007 at 9:51 pm

yeah and we will empower him more riches!

Klaudio September 15, 2007 at 5:23 am

But not with me

WarriorBlog September 14, 2007 at 7:17 pm

Didn’t realize he was an affiliate… :!:

SEO Optimization September 14, 2007 at 9:12 pm

It happens. After all, who cares if it is a affiliate link or not as long as we find the link useful for us.

Softsled September 14, 2007 at 5:57 pm

I think it will do well if they offer quality products. If a bunch of hokey products are put up there it won’t last.

my 2 cents

the Dev Network September 14, 2007 at 6:44 pm

Another one?

Free Blog Help September 14, 2007 at 6:52 pm

Exactly. I think it’s cool that their affiliate program is so heavy, but I would like it better if I could promote the sale of a particular product they offer, which is basically impossible, given the offers expire in

Free Blog Help September 14, 2007 at 6:54 pm

I guess a less than sign doesn’t work….

expire in less than 24 hours.

WarriorBlog September 14, 2007 at 7:16 pm

 Look like they been around quite awhile since their Alexa Rank is about 1200.

Jug September 14, 2007 at 8:03 pm

Nah, the Alexa Rank is 1.4m+

Shaun Connell September 14, 2007 at 10:15 pm

Haha, nice… :P

Chris Jacobson September 14, 2007 at 7:52 pm

I just signed up. Thanks!

Joshua September 14, 2007 at 7:57 pm

As they say, the smart money gets in early…

Shaun Connell September 14, 2007 at 8:18 pm

I really hope they don’t turn this into an EBook of the day website…

Jug September 14, 2007 at 8:20 pm

Hah! That would REALLY be disappointing. Anyway… they said “internet marketing PRODUCTS”, not “internet marketing E-BOOKS”, so let’s trust them and hope for the best (and expect the worst  )

Shaun Connell September 14, 2007 at 10:17 pm

Yeah, lol… that would suck for them to blow the idea with nothing but scams. :P But what else could it be? They’ll need like 365 products per year… that’s a lot.

Jug September 14, 2007 at 10:53 pm

We can help them by putting our products up for grabs sale, right?

Click Input September 14, 2007 at 8:51 pm

Blogging the Movie September 14, 2007 at 9:35 pm

Great. I’m in

Blogging the Movie September 14, 2007 at 9:38 pm

it would be kind of cool if they created a widget. that we can plug in our blogs. That would update the item of the day.

Chris Jacobson September 14, 2007 at 9:57 pm

That’s a good idea. I’m sure someone will create one soon.

Jug September 14, 2007 at 10:14 pm

I think someone will only create a widget if this DealDotCom becomes a big hit.

Chris Jacobson September 14, 2007 at 11:13 pm

What do you mean ‘if’? John Chow blogged about it, so it has to make all of us at least a million bucks.

Jug September 15, 2007 at 12:29 am

Right… well, hopefully we can make a lot of money from DealDotCom.

thewild1 September 14, 2007 at 11:53 pm

Novice SEO September 15, 2007 at 6:14 am

You know… one of these days I am going to come up with an idea like that…….hahaha….. Very Good. It would be cool to see a deep discount for the full Adobe Creater suite eh?

BloggingProfits September 15, 2007 at 6:51 am

Another way to make money… yehey!!!!!

Sorin September 15, 2007 at 7:03 am

Thanks John!

I’m also in! It looks very promising!

Dave September 15, 2007 at 7:20 am

Nice, I signed up + want to offer a product, but it’s pretty lame the design is stolen from Woot too.

NothingMan September 15, 2007 at 8:10 am

It’s the JohnCow.com of Woot. I hate when people completely rip off ideas and themes.

Dave September 15, 2007 at 8:30 am

I joined. Hope it works out and really does pay the % commissions. I do better with flat-rate pay-per-lead or pay-per-sign-up.

Chris Jacobson September 15, 2007 at 8:50 am

Affiliate banners and buttons were just released this morning on the DealDotCom blog:

Hi John, thanks for the info! It is an awesome idea to sell affiliate products!

John, By the way, have you also heard of BLOG RUSH
which is under beta test now??

It is a free targeted traffic exchange / syndication network that do wonder especially for BLOGGERS. I think the idea is really powerful. It could potentially explode your blog traffic and bring your blog traffic to the next level. All bloggers would definitely benefit from it.

Scoot September 15, 2007 at 10:58 am

Danny @ Blogs For Money September 15, 2007 at 3:21 pm

I’d be interested in seeing how many signups John got from this post :D

SpeedyVista September 15, 2007 at 6:31 pm

I just wonder how they are going to keep it up daily. I mean seriously, are there *that* many products out there that the site can keep going for the long run?

Going ot be interesting..
