Make $10,000 in 37 Days From Facebook

written by John Chow on April 27, 2008

How to make $593 in less than one hour

Brian Campbell of the Internet Marketing University wants to show the power of Facebook but using it to make $10,000 in 37 days. Why he needs 37 days and not 30, I have no idea.

I’m doing a live demonstration about how to I’m going to earn $10,000 or more on facebook in only 37 days, starting completely from scratch. I’m teaching this group how I’m doing it.

If you want to find out how you can make some big money from Facebook, you can follow Brian’s progress at his Facebook page. These things normally end up with the guy falling flat on his face, or making the required amount. It should be interesting to watch. Good luck Brian.

Yeah if it was $10,000 in 30 days I would go for it, but this $10,000 in 37 days…pffffffft

Chris Jacobson April 27, 2008 at 8:29 pm

I made $15,522 in 54 days on Facebook… does that count for anything?

pennyblogger April 27, 2008 at 11:07 pm

did you make the money ON facebook? or FROM facebook?

Flimjo April 28, 2008 at 7:07 am

Facebook can be a very powerful social networking tool. Better than Digg, Reddit, etc.

Affiliate Confession April 28, 2008 at 1:36 pm

I’m just not into Facebook much. I get tired of all the application requests people send me and I’m using it way less than Twitter.

Syed Balkhi April 29, 2008 at 4:05 am

Here here … I get so many of these application request …for me to see a comment, I have to get funwall application. For you to do this ….. I hate it

Ilias April 28, 2008 at 1:01 pm

That’s a good question ! (?)

Terry Tay April 28, 2008 at 7:23 pm

That’s a nice amount Chris, but 53 days should have been the longest it took you to reach that. :-D

Affiliate Confession April 28, 2008 at 7:39 pm

Yes Chris, I believe we’ll count that one.

Zero and Up April 27, 2008 at 7:56 pm

Interesting that the title of the post in the title bar says “Make ,000 in 37 days” – that’s probably how it would turn out for me heh! Who knows, I might give facebook marketing a try one of these days.

Terry Tay April 27, 2008 at 8:27 pm

Haha…That is weird. You got a good eye because I rarely even bother looking at the title of the page at the top of the browser.

Michael Kwan April 27, 2008 at 11:03 pm

It must have something to do with the dollar sign.

Jon April 27, 2008 at 8:05 pm

I’m going to try this out :D

scott April 27, 2008 at 8:28 pm

Should be interesting to watch his progress. 37 days does seem a little fishy though :???: Why not 37 day’s and $9,999

ClogMoney April 28, 2008 at 5:58 am

Why 37 days? Why not in a month or 30 days or something? Strange strange strange

Conservatives and Normals April 28, 2008 at 9:27 am

37 sounds more legit than 30… we’ve all heard of the “get rich in 30 day’s” scheme, but now we have the “get rich in 37 day’s” scheme.

Flimjo April 28, 2008 at 9:52 am

But I think the “30 days” rhetoric is a better sales ploy.

Paolo U April 27, 2008 at 8:45 pm

I will try this in the near future.

I wonder how does facebook marketing work. I don’t have an idea!

Gabriel Lai April 27, 2008 at 8:56 pm

wow! Very tempting…. I’m into Facebook now!! All the while I find facebook very complicated… It seems like it can be use to generate money too!

Abi Bakar April 27, 2008 at 9:05 pm

I neither even own an account in Facebook nor got interested to join although the promotion from my friends keep surrounding me to join, for me it’s just another Friendster with more complicated & complete features to make friends from all of over the continents. But for 10,000 in 37 days may be I should give it a shoot…I’m in

Paul April 27, 2008 at 9:12 pm

I’ll be interested to see what happens, I am just now starting to explore different ways to make money online.

Mike Huang April 27, 2008 at 9:29 pm

Wonder what he will do to make the dope :P

Brian Nguyen April 27, 2008 at 9:40 pm

I’ve tried the Ads on Facebook but it’s so expensive for my site. The minimum amount you have to spend a day is $5, and regular bid for 1 click is $0.5x. 10 visitors a day for $5? Isn’t it too expensive? (Maybe for me) :???:

Brian Campbell April 27, 2008 at 10:12 pm

I would like to thank John for picking up my story. I’m not only just making $10,000 in 37 days on facebook, I’m teaching people how I’m doing it as I’m doing. This is to help the greatest amount of people! In fact my timeline is shrinking and I’ll probably be making it in 22-25 days.

Aloha,
Brian Campbell

Liane April 28, 2008 at 12:12 am

Hey brain, where do I sign up to learn this?

Matt April 27, 2008 at 11:28 pm

“These things normally end up with the guy falling flat on his face, or making the required amount.”

How profound. Seriously…

Matthew April 28, 2008 at 12:25 am

I was thinking that too. What other way could it end up? You either make it or you don’t. LOL.

Liane April 28, 2008 at 12:09 am

I didn’t even know if that’s possible. How does he do (or is planning) it???

Really really curious..

Leaving The Day Job April 28, 2008 at 2:25 am

My money is on him failing. Or if he succeeds it will be by spamming or some other underhand technique.

Matthew Crist April 28, 2008 at 4:06 am

From reading his posts, it sounds like he is going to use the Facebook group to push his wares. I could be wrong, and it will be interesting to see what happens.

Benny April 28, 2008 at 4:28 am

I have no idea how he is going to accomplish that. I am also curious but in 37 days? lol lets see

Flimjo April 28, 2008 at 7:09 am

The “37 days” bit isn’t very catchy. “30 days” or “4 weeks” or something easier to remember is simpler to use.

MrAchievement.com (Stanley Bronstein) April 28, 2008 at 5:26 am

I assume he will make the money by providing something of value (or at least perceived value).

Please keep up updated.

Who wants to make bets on whether this will work or not?

car345.com April 28, 2008 at 5:46 am

Me. Yes he can make it.

car345.com April 28, 2008 at 5:45 am

I’m in alredy, lets see. I think he is offering few affiliate programs. If there is a class kind of program he creates and charges $1000 per preson all he need is 10 people. Even offering afiliate offers that are give $50.00 in affiliate commissions and getting 200 people to complete the offers will do it.

ClogMoney April 28, 2008 at 5:54 am

I haven’t tried this yet, it’s too expensive. But i guess as the old saying goes it takes money to make money. I think he will make it, soley on the fact people will be looking out for them just because he has advertised what he has done so much.

Hannah April 28, 2008 at 6:31 am

Was it you John who posted a few months ago about a blog who had listed how he made a ton of money (can’t remember the amount) on Facebook by becoming an affiliate with some scholarship programs?

That was a great article to read (I’m 99% sure it was from here that I read it) for anybody who wants to make money off Facebook.

Affiliate Confession April 28, 2008 at 6:58 am

Okay, I joined the group just to keep track of this and see if the guy can do it.

KNau April 28, 2008 at 7:02 am

Didn’t Facebook lose $50 million dollars last year. It seems even Facebook can’t figure out how to make money from Facebook :)

Flimjo April 28, 2008 at 7:11 am

$50 million is chump change. Facebook is worth about $1 billion.

pennyblogger April 28, 2008 at 4:53 pm

facebook is valued at about 15 billion, after Microsoft bought a minority stake in the company for $240 million. that was back in october… but yes 50 mil is chump change…

make150aday April 28, 2008 at 9:28 am

i m not sure about that.
But is making $150/day sound alright/practical to you all?
Which one is more feasible? $10k in 37 day or $150/day.

Take a look at http://www.make150aday.com

Conservatives and Normals April 28, 2008 at 9:29 am

Here’s how you make $10,000 on Facebook in 37 days… Tell everyone you are going to give a class on how to make $10,000 on Facebook in 37 days. Similar with what John Chow does with his website.

Flimjo April 28, 2008 at 9:48 am

Well I think John Chow is legit. But the Facebook $10,000 guy is a little more suspect.

Wade April 28, 2008 at 2:41 pm

I am open to any methods that work, that don’t cost much money to follow through with. Most people reading sites of these nature don’t have $500 to gamble with. Yeah you could spend $500 and turn it in to 1500 or so, but what about people wanting to turn 5 bucks into 50. Then 50 to 500?? I think a lot of sites that are to help us make more money, forget that most of us have to start out at the bottom. You can’t just jump into the game without working your way up. This is why most of us get fooled because you think you can just jump into the big boy game.

It is weird that he has a 37 minute video. I guess a minute for each day lol. In his video, it is just him rambling. In my opinion, a 5 minute video that was well put together would have worked better. He lost credibility because it seemed like he was just repeating and going over the same thing, pulling stuff out of the air. I also would like so see his site populated. All of his posts have no comments.. Looks like he just wanted some hype, so he saved up money for a few reviews on sites like JC.

If he does make his goal of 10k, then It has to be because of all the hype he built up. That hype will help him make his mark, and then people will think he is god.

I am open to be proven wrong, so I will follow him and see what is really up with it…

pennyblogger April 28, 2008 at 5:16 pm

hmm yeah this guys does seem suspect.. lots of hype….
he has a facebook group, a facebook fan page, briancampbell.com which is an exact copy of his fan page, his imu site… and on and on…

also in part 1 of his video he says that he can send one email out to his list of 100,000 contacts and from that email make $100,000 in two hours, and that he’s done that a number of times… so why would he bother working to make $10,000 in 37 days….?

not to mention… after 37 days, or 22 days or whenever it is that he says he has completed his goal… how is going to actually prove that he made the money from facebook?

i can say that i will make $50,000 in 50 days, and then come back 50 days late and say “I DID IT!”… all i need is a convincing video so that you’ll trust me when i say i made the money….

p.s… i know you don’t get rich buy throwing your money away, but he looks like he’s recording his video in a basement suite dungeon apartment, on a rat infested couch…. not very fitting for a guy who already made 2 million online, and can make another 100 g’s with a click of the mouse.

soares April 28, 2008 at 5:23 pm

if i made 500 € with my blog in a month i would be satisfied, but im inpressioned with that….

make150aday April 28, 2008 at 7:53 pm

I totally agree with pennyblogger and wade..

Bob Crawford April 28, 2008 at 9:01 pm

It will be interesting, to say the least. I’m in for the ride though. I’ll be following along and working with him to see how this unfolds. I think we’re all going to succeed.

natural colon cleanse April 29, 2008 at 2:05 am

I do go thru all articles of John’s normally. This is interesting article to work with facebook. I will check it up.

thanks

Webhosting Reality April 29, 2008 at 3:13 am

If it is easy to make $10,000 in 37 days, then next year, there will be more than countless millionaires in the world.

John April 29, 2008 at 10:06 am

I have been a client of Brian Campbell and his ex partner for at least a couple of years and I can assure you if you ignore his training you will be the loser….Brian is a lot different from most of the so called Guru’s. He gives a lot back to the people trying to make it online.

John April 29, 2008 at 10:14 am

30 days or 37 days….does it matter…..obviously you guys haven’t been around the Internet Marketing world too long. Don’t you know about the magic number 7.
Look at any website selling anything to do with the internet marketing world and it is priced at $7, £17, $27, $37, $47, $57, $67, $77, $97, $147, £197, $1997, $2997….Obviously someone has done some research and the 7 on the end for some reason entices people to purchase. So 37 days instead of 30. Not to get you to purchase but to take note…..You did didn’t you because you asked why 37 instead of 30.. Say no more

DeboHobo April 30, 2008 at 8:06 am

I hope he succeeds in his mission & I joined his group on Facebook and started watching his two part video and it quickly became a lot of yada yada yada yang yang and I lost interest.

Good luck buddy

Matt Huggins April 30, 2008 at 1:12 pm

Looks like Facebook deleted the group. Anyone have a link to a blog or anything else where I can follow this guy’s progress?

Guest May 1, 2008 at 9:39 am

I had a similar experience as DeboHobo. It’s a LOT of babbling. Only about 5 minutes of material is worth listening and the materials are very basic too (Create groups or fan pages). His ability to create hype and PR is impressive though :) . It’s still worth following just in case his succeeding videos have more quality materials in it.

Another John May 3, 2008 at 2:34 am

Well, it does sound a little fishy. Guy thought he’d put 37 days so this thing of his won’t be considered a ’30 days skim’. Anyway, is he going to make or not isn’t that important right now, it already got my attention. I must admit I hate facebook, but could use the money :) So I’ll be watching :)
And thanks John btw. Keep it up.

work at home June 4, 2009 at 4:05 am

I remember people made thousands from Myspace back in the old days. Now it’s Facebook eh…might be something there. Facebook is now bigger than Myspace now. I see what ya saying john…why not 30 days instead of 37 LOL
