I’m tempted to get in on his evil plan but at the moment, it’s still too evil for me…
bah, to mee it’s just good marketing. Don’t forget, it isn’t John who sends millions of Viagra emails every day. He just does what he can to get some traffic, and it seems to be working for him.
It’s not really evil, it’s just something you need a base of traffic to leverage. I’m currently building up traffic before trying this plan out.
It’s iindeed a bit evil…

I know this experiment is working like a charm now, but I would suggest maybe you throw in a little surprise once in a while, just to make sure you keep the momentum. (surprises could be something simple like 100$ worth of advert on your other sites, or invite someone to write an article for your site…) That should keep it interresting.
Just wondering, how many of the reviewers have benefitted from this?
If some of them could come forward with the details in increase in traffic, money, please share it with us.
Having an outgoing link from JohnChow.com is very helpful, but it won’t show a dramatic increase in money or traffic. It’s a bunch of links like one that will result in growth

Still holding at 145 in Technorati John, you were up to 140 last week, but you slipped back a bit for some reason.
Batch 47 only 3 more for 50, any guesses on how many more batches it takes to break into the Technorati top 100? I would have to guess another 10.
I would bet it will take more than 10 more batches. He also has batch 48 and 49 complete and ready for posting.
