Yeah - Even if your blog looks great it is hard to look credible by bashing a blog as popular as JC. Also, you aren't going to have a sympathetic audience if the traffic is all coming from JC.

That's surely going to happen. There were 500 reviews, that's 500 links that are exposed to ever growing audience. You see, this is just like multi level marketing, it just keeps growing exponentially.. :arrow:

It took awhile to get to 50, 100 is a long way still.

There is a batch or two every day, 100 should come in less than 50 days.. 2+2=7

yeah the review is mainly about the link back. I did a review of Tyler Cruz's blog and I got more traffic than I did from the JC one, but the JC link is worth way more :)

I wouldn't even try it if my Google PR or Alexa are not solid. You need to give reviewers an incentive to write about you, right :?: :!:

You should wait until you have a lot of traffic, then you can leverage your traffic with this piece of link bait :)

You can post a review every day. John wouldn't mind, more link love for him :cool:

Technorati isnèt that big of a deal imo. I think you get a high ranking on technorati because your blog is very popular and lots of people read it, not the other way around.

He surely is the most reviewed one through this method :!:

I'm pretty sure John came up with this piece of linkbait himself, so he's most likely on the top for # of reviews :)

I don't know what is worse, an overly praising review or an overly criticizing one..

I link to all reviews. Good or bad.

I don't think search engine spiders can crawl the review and think hey...this guy is saying that JohnChow.com sucks, we should penalize it. :)

I would say improving
