Make Money Online With Clickbank
Clickbank is slowly becoming one of my biggest online money makers. Last month, I made a record $7,646.08 from the affiliate network and I expect to top that this month. If you haven’t tried them out yet, you should definitely give them a shot. Clickbank is a goldmine just waiting to be tapped.
Founded in 1998, ClickBank provides digital content – eBooks, software, memberships and subscriptions – to consumers around the world through an expanding network of product vendors and affiliate Internet marketers. The ClickBank network includes more than 100,000 active affiliates and over 12,000 vendors of tens of thousands of unique digital products.
There are two ways to make money with Clickbank. As an affiliate, you can promote any Clickbank products and earn up to 80% commission on the sale. The average commission is 50%. Since its founding, Clickbank has paid out nearly $1.5 BILLION in affiliate commissions.
The other way to make money off Clickbank is to be a publisher and list your product in the Clickbank marketplace and have the affiliates promote it. You decide how much commission you want to give. Generally, the higher your revenue share, the greater chance you have of having affiliates like me promote your product. Shoemoney used Clickbank to launch his Shoemoney System and made $100K in a single day.

Same here. I need to wait though perhaps since I’ve set up a number of niche sites focusing on just keywords and preselling. Unfortunately my sites keep getting “sandboxed” by Google and never rank at all.
From what I hear though, Google sanboxing only lasts a few months, after that my niche sites should rank on the first page of Google for their keywords and start netting some profit.
Outside of that method, I am curious to see how John makes his money with ClickBank. Just hoping it’s not using my method because you run the risk of getting immediately sandboxed and make $0 for you first 3 months.
There are all sorts of ways to promote Clickbank products including paid search and direct linking.
I have never seen anything stating this, but is there a restriction on certain keywords that you can bid on or is it all fair game?
I know with Pepperjam Network, their advertisers give you a list of keyword that you cannot bid on which almost makes paid search results useless.
Clickbank has almost no restrictions.

But there are some rebills in Clickbank that aren’t the scammy acai berry diet crap.

A lot of people can make money online with clickbank…and as i know if we have a lot of mailing list, it`s really help.
But John Chow can you teach us how can we fight our competitors to sell clickbank products?
I think John promise to reveal his strategies in clickbank — including to beat the competitors i assume.
Somehow I don’t think we will get the super secret strategies though.

I only have CJ in my affiliate table now but i think i will check this click bank since i hear it is heaven for many affiliate marketers.

I am a little confused; clear it for me. Clickbank is old and i believe a lot of the affiliates have tried it and are still on it. Well its good to refresh the mind and i think they have potential. I am working on a guide where i will provide tips on several clickbank tricks

I figured you made a LOT more from other Affiliate Campaigns and just a small % from CB. That’s pretty cool to know that some of the Top Bloggers are making that much from it.
I’ve always liked CB, but many say it’s low quality. I still push their products because the sales can be quite easy if you know what you’re doing.

I actually did not make a single cent from Clickbank affiliate links on the 125ads on my right side bar despite having more than 600 click throughs since I put them up to make the blog look nicer 4 months ago, before there are private advertisers.
I think it will requires some strategies and definitely need very high traffic.
$100K in one day!!!! One day! That is crazy! I knew he made that in a month but one day is unbelievable.

I’ve heard email is best, then twitter, then your blog for sales in the short-term.
I use Clickbank as an affiliate to promote products, but not on my websites. The trick is: I figured out that adwooz.com pay per click advertising network is one of the vehicle that perfectly works in conjunction with Clickbank or Commission Junction. I buy advertising for as low as $5-10 on adwooz.com for each product to advertise and put links with my Cllickbank or CJ ID to text or banner. Due to PPC I am not spending on impressions, but setting right keywords for products for my niche makes good returns.
Just started promoting clickbank products a week before. Lets see if it could bring a charm to me as till now me is zero in affiliate marketing. Till before, i only knew of AVG. But Clickbank as I visited is better tahn AVG if it could give me some money

You need a lot of hops to make a single sale from clickbank. I average around 140 hops per sale. To make significant income from CB you definitely need a lot of traffic to your site. When it comes to the number of hops to make a sale, I don’t think there’s really a rule of thumb. I suppose it depends on a lot of things, like where the links are coming from, your site audience, how well you pre-sell your affiliate product, and so on.
Interesting, so a 140:1 ratio of hops to sales. I wonder if this is different depending on the market.. do you strictly market internet marketing products or do you market other items?
I have registered ClickBank for more than a year, and I haven’t made any money from it yet. But I have confidence that one day it will generate a satisfying income because I am getting more and more people click on my products.

Couldn’t agree with you more! I have just started promoting products, and had earlier decided to promote physical products.
However, I changed my mind at the last moment, when I found out that selling digital products is more lucrative! Most of the ClickBank products pay 75% of the product cost price as commission.

John, Clickbank cold be better if they pay by PayPal. I live in Brazi, and I have tried to work with Clickbank, but the payment system by check is terrible for me.
