MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate WordPress Plugin

Pawan Agarwal and MaxBlogPress have done it again. The maker of the MBP Stripe Ad plugin has came up with another money making WordPress product and has ordered this review to generate the buzz about it.. The MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate WordPress plugin allows you to turn any word on your blog post into an affiliate link. You can also cloak your affiliate links, track them and manage them right from your WordPress text editor.

If you have a blog with a good amount of content, the Ninja Affiliate plugin is a great way to monetize that content. The great thing is it doesn’t take up any ad space or is intrusive in any way. What the plugin does is turn any keyword you want into a link. The link can be an affiliate link or a link to another part of your blog or another blog. Other features of Ninja Affiliate includes:

  1. Easy Affiliate Link Management – You can easily give each affiliate link an easy-to-remember name..
  2. Flexible Link Management – Accepts every affiliate link format out there, so you don’t have to waste time with various affiliate marketing tools..
  3. Create Professional Redirect Links – Use professional looking redirect links that let your prospects know you’re a pro marketer..
  4. Manage Links by Groups – Too many affiliate links? Ninja Affiliate allows you to easily create different groups to manage your links..
  5. Prevent “Affiliate Theft” – Cloak your affiliate links to prevent link theft and affiliate sabotage. No one will ever steal your hard-earned commissions again..
  6. Insert Affiliate Links Directly – Add your affiliate links directly for your WordPress blog editor – you’ll never have to hunt for links again..
  7. Transform Keywords to Links – Automatically turn keywords in your blog to affiliate links. You can set a limit too, so your posts don’t look like a spam blog!
  8. Advanced Display Options – Ninja Affiliate allows you to display any text you want in your web browser’s status bar..
  9. Use “No-Follow” Links – Control your link juice and escape punishment from Big Daddy Google with ninja precision. In fact, you can control your links any way you want to..

Creating Ninja Affiliate Links

MaxBlogPress Nija Plugin

MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate is by far the most feature rich plugin of its kind. Before Ninja Affiliate, I was using WordPress Affiliate Pro to convert my keywords into affiliate links. However. Ninja Affiliate is way better. My favorite feature is the way Ninja Affiliate displays the affiliate links in the browser status bar. Instead of showing http://www.johnchow.com/wp-content/plugins/wpaffpro/wp-affiliate-pro.php?id=xx like the old plugin, Ninja Affiliate shows http://www.johnchow.com/whatever.

For those of you who are with PayPerPost, which don’t allow affiliate links in a paid post, Ninja Affiliate is perfect because you can control which categories the links show up in. By excluding the sponsored posts categories, no Ninja Affiliate links will show there and you won’t be violating the PayPerPost TOS. However, you’ll be getting links on all the other categories and making money from them.

MaxBlogPress can be used as a branding tool as well. Instead of giving the URLs to your Twitter, Facebook, Digg or Stumble accounts, you can use the Ninja Affiliate plugin to set up URLs with your domain name and then forward to those social sites. For example:

Doesn’t that look a lot better than a bunch of URLs from different domains? You can see how I used this feature in Twitter home page.

The amount of features in the MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate is too much to list. Heres’ a video showing some of the most useful options. There is another video at the MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate sales page.

The plugin is extremely easy to install – just upload to your WordPress Plugins folder and then activate in your WordPress control panel. After that, you can go and create as many links as you want. You are allowed to install the plugin on as many WordPress blogs as you own – no need to buy another license.

What would you know, I’m literally about to launch an almost identical plugin, but it’s going to retail at less than half of this price.

I hate when people beat me to ideas but then charge more…

    1. Pheak Tol says:

      you gotta be quicker =]

good luck with your plugin though

it seems like a new one is coming out every day to enhance wordpress usage

      1. Tushar says:

        Tell me about it.

You can turn WordPress into practically everything these days, from a video site to a dating site :S

        1. Hmm.. Ive seen this plugin before on a website as a contest prize… Well.. This is the coolest plugin I have ever seen but I will stick with WP-Marketer which is free and does the same thing Ninja Affiliate Plugin does 🙂

          I will give it a try later on… Thanks ! 🙂

    2. Tushar says:

      It’s ok.

Remember, price is only one part of the equation. Marketing and features are very important as well!

    3. This is a very good blog post! I have been looking for something to quickly monetize my blog, which is needed because my blog looks like a mess right now!

    4. I actually think this price is fairly good for what it is, so if you’re releasing a similar one for less, I’m sure you’ll do just fine. 🙂

    5. You should still release it!

    6. Sire says:

Well, if you plugin has as many features and you are only charging half of the amount, I am sure that you can still grab a decent slice of the market.

    7. I have this plugin and is a must have. I cannot think a world without it. It makes so easy to manage all of your affiliate links in your posts.

  2. I’ve been wanting this plugin for some time now, but it’s abit steep $97.

    1. Tushar says:

It is pretty steep, and it’s the only product they offer without a free trial or a free version.

  3. Sounds like a great plugin to have in order to maximize profits from any affiliate relationships you might have. Will definitely look into this product in more detail…

  4. SEO Tips says:

Sounds interesting but unless I was really trying to just solely monetize my blog its not really the kind of plug in I will be using. It makes it seem like all you want to do is monetize and make money when in actual fact not everyone does.

Great idea for bloggers who are just in it for the money but not myself.

    1. Tushar says:

Yea, just like Kontera. Seems like people are monetizing everything these days.

John does do it, however, and he does make bank, so can’t argue with him on that.

  5. This sounds like a great plugin. I will have to consider it.

  6. Tushar says:

    This isn’t a new plugin.

I tried MaxBlogPress Stripe Ad, and it doesn’t convert at all for me.

    How’s it doing for you?

    1. This not like stripe ad. You can use it like something similar to kontera but like your own private network. You no longer need to put the links for your affiliate keywords into your posts, this plugin will do it for you and you will never forget about it.

  7. That’s pretty interesting!!! Another useful tool found by john chow!!

  8. Sounds great plugin! But unfortunately, we must pay for that 🙁

    1. But you can also sign up to their affiliate program and with 2 sales you may have your plugin for free.

  9. ProBlogineer says:

    Great plugin there.
looking for more reviews guys… anybody tried it ?

  10. VeRonda says:

OMG! This is some good stuff… You know, I think a lot of people don’t like to pay for stuff, but more and more I’m finding out that it’s totally an investment into your future and, what you want–a successful business (blog). Good stuff.

  11. This is a very good blog post! I have been looking for something to quickly monetize my blog, which is needed because my blog looks like a mess right now!

  12. That’s why I absolutely love wordpress. With all these plugins (and more that are coming) one can do practically anything with a wordpress blog these days… practically anything. Interesting. Thanks for sharing this, John.

  13. Tushar says:

One thing I’ve noticed after downloading and verifying a few MaxBlogPress plugins is that they send a load of spam my way via their newsletter.

    Not good 🙁

    1. Hmm.. Thats sick! I better stay away from this and stick to my current plugin

  14. game-girl says:

I relly like the idea of the plugin . And probably I will need later.

  15. Golan says:

    Hello John
Can you please explain me, what are “link theft and affiliate sabotage” and how somebody could steal my commissions?
    Thanx.

  16. reflux says:

thanks john for recommendation this affiliate……….your information really help me

  17. Reyn Aria says:

That’s a great plugin for blog content monetization, but I think I don’t really need it right now. Will definitely install one in the future though.

  18. I used Alinks to do pretty much the same thing, but removed it after getting slapped by Google. This plugin definitely seems comprehensive, but it comes with a pretty steep price tag.

  19. 100wordrants says:

I hate when websites are cluttered with ads and banners. There is nothing better than a clean looking blog. This plugin does allow you to use your links more efficiently. Nice review.

  20. GP says:

This is great! I am always looking for something like this for my blog. Another great find!

  21. Something I’m going to look in to as I am having advertising identity crisis.

  22. Ryan McLean says:

    This is AWESOME!
This is exactly what my readers need to hear about. Most of them run blogs and I am teaching them about affiliate marketing.
The combination of the two means this item could be perfect for them

  23. Wooooooow this plugin surely seems interesting. However i think $67 is kinda high, just my 2 cents.

  24. diabetes man says:

very exciting affiliate wp plugin….. easy to install, ehm $67

  25. I’d heard about this some time ago, but you do make a good point about using it to redirect to one’s social profiles. Nice idea.

  26. Pahn says:

this plugin surely is great to have,, but I really do not have enough income yet to purchase it,, hope someday I can afford having this type of plugin

  27. Ali Hussain says:

I wish i had the money. I see that you are already using it

  28. Robert says:

    $97 for a plugin?

  29. ChrisW says:

The plugin sounds great.I don’t have a problem paying for a plugin. But $97 is too much.maybe later on i’ll buy it.

  30. Sounds like a great plugin. Thanks for sharing it with us John.
