Meet Me At Affiliate Summit West

The Affiliate Summit will be held from February 24 to 26 at the Rio all suite hotel in Las Vegas. Affiliate Summit was founded by Missy Ward and Shawn Collins in 2003 for the purpose of providing educational sessions on the latest industry issues and fostering a productive networking environment for affiliate marketers. If you’re interested in affiliate marketing then you don’t want to miss this event.

I will be speaking on a panel with Zac Johnson and Amit Mehta on Tuesday in a session call Super Affiliate Strategies that Work. The panel will be moderated by Kristopher Jones of Pepperjam. From what I’ve been hearing, this is going to be the must attend session of the entire summit. You can see the complete summit schedule here.

A full conference pass to the Affiliate Summit cost $1,449 if you order in advance. Onsite registration cost $1,949. There is also an exhibit hall pass only for $199 ($299 onsite). However, the exhibit pass won’t get you into any sessions. If you can get a group of 5 to 9 people together, you can get 20% off the cost of a full pass. Get a group of 10 or more and you’ll get 25% off.

This will be my first time speaking at a major affiliate function and I’m really looking forward to it. Blog World was a total blast and I’m sure Affiliate Summit will be the same. See you there!

    1. Steven says:

Will be there. John you should run a contest to promote a free Full Pass giveaway to a reader ^_~

Would love to attend the session for sure but $1500 or $2000, either way, is too expensive for many people.

  8. seo audit says:

  9. David Chew says:

Congratulation, the price seems to be expensive for some people.

  10. How much is it if your name is John Chow? 😯

  11. I’d love to go to one of these industry show, especially Affiliate Summit. However, my $2,500 per month income can’t really justify the nearly $1,500 cost. Maybe next year…

  12. I’ll be there unless something comes up…

  13. bloggernoob says:

this has to be one of the biggest make money schemes. no way is it worth 2000 dollars for a boring lecture. from what i know of attending such conventions. i’ve spoken at one as well. the guys on the panel, don’t they all offer free information anyhow? it’s like the modern day version of the gold rush. fools gold rush

    1. Neil Duckett says:

What do you really think noob?! … Good to see you have a strong opinion on the topic. It’s not even an option to even consider such a thing from Japan.

    2. Phil says:

  16. Hey, John Chow’s pdf was really helpful for me to make the grand total of $10 so far.
    Thank you John Chow!
I wouldn’t mind getting paid $2000 to do this:
One of my reviews on the Necro Files

    Any takers?

  17. I’d go if I were in the area.

  18. I was going to go, but I’m going to Vegas in March anyway for a vacation.

  19. Jonny says:

    Funny!!!
Since when John Chow is an Affiliate Guru? Because you won a blog that is basically reviews of other’s people website doesn’t necessarily means you know about affiliate marketing.

I am so glad I am not going to Las vegas…

  20. PJ says:

That is pretty pricey for an event… I wonder what value this will bring to people using affiliates?

    1. MoneyNing says:

Like most other ones, it’s more about networking than learning something…

  21. John,

Looking forward to seeing you there man! I’ll make sure I save a MediaTrust toque for you…even though you only get like 2 weeks of no snow in vancity.

    Good luck with your talk!

    Geofferson

  22. Benny Ong says:

Heard about the event ages ago. I wish I could attend… πŸ™

  23. Zac Johnson says:

Yes, this is going to be the jammed packed premium session that all will want to attend. I’ve been speaking an several Affiliate Summits, and haven’t missed attending one yet. The connections you make at these events are priceless. I highly recommend it.

  24. Gyutae Park says:

Yes, I plan on going as well. It will be my very first conference so I hope to meet a lot of people whom I’ve had contact with online. It should be great. Are there going to be any special events for John Chow/Zac Johnson readers?

  25. Max says:

See you there John! Looking forward to finally meeting you.

  26. Miles Baker says:

I will be there, can’t wait to hear your panel discussion with Amit and Zac!

  27. I have always wanted to go to an affiliate convention. The price is pretty high for a full pass. I wonder if the information would pay for itself by applying the information received. But I love Vegas as we all do. John do you think that the premium price is worth it for a first timer? PS what about a johnchow.com group buy on passes? Just a thought!

  28. Contest Beat says:

Do you do PPC affiliate marketing John?

  29. Liviu Pantea says:

Kind of expensive but i`m sure it worth every penny.

  30. afham says:

    πŸ™

  31. Haroon says:

    kooool John
I can’t be there cuz i’m too far away from Vegas and it will cost a me a some grand to reach there
    I hope you have a gr8 Summit
    ty

  32. $1,449! sounds expensive! 😯

  33. Todd says:

I have way better things than this “Summit” to spend my money on. I’ve never seen much value in these types of conferences. Though I can afford it easily, I don’t see it adding to my bottom line.

  34. I was going to go, but i’m not into affiliate marketing currently. However, 2009 could be totally different πŸ˜‰
