Meet The New Driving with John Chow Jaguar F Type

It’s been over a week since I picked up my new Jaguar F Type, and I’ve received a ton of emails about it.

In this Driving with John Chow episode, I compare the Jag to the my Mercedes SL550, and explain the plus and minuses of each. The F Type is more powerful and sportier, while the SL 550 is a more luxurious riding car with more tech gadgets than the space shuttle.

In many ways, the F Type is the polar opposite of the SL. One is a quiet and conservative. The other is loud and attention grabbing. If you don’t like attention, then do not drive a Jaguar F Type, especially one that’s painted in arrest me red. The exhaust is so loud, the cops will hear you before they see you. You can tone down the voice with a push of the active exhaust button. But why would you want to? All that anger comes at the expense of fuel economy. While both cars have the same MPG rating, I barely got 200 miles out of the first tank of gas because I was driving like a hooligan. Good thing I live the Dot Com Lifestyle.

I like the tech aspect of the Mercedes, but this Jaguar looks much more fun to ride around in.

Jaguar isn’t behind on tech anymore

Thats sort of like the difference among classes of marketers: some are loud, love to show off, and colorful looking while others are quiet, stylish, and tech savvy. But both can get you where you need to be 😉

  6. Hi John,

Both cars look beautiful. I’d go with the Jag because I like loud and forceful, at least on the road 😉 As for the pick up you are right-a-roo; MOBE does know how to look after its partners if you’re picking up one of these bad boys after hitting a set level with the company. Incentives are a biggie and money is one channel through which you can prosper. Many folks miss this; traveling, meeting inspiring folks, and receiving SWEET gifts are all the trappings, the trimmings, related to living the Dot Com lifestyle. It’s not just about how much money you can accumulate or what numbers you hit each month. The Invisible Why in the Visible What, that’s what we want, and in money terms this usually means being free through the accumulation of that chedda.

Riding the F Type sounds freeing to me on so many levels.

    Thanks JC!

You’re crazy John. When I say crazy I mean fun in a jovial sense. You are one of the most down to earth marketer in the business. You give, I think many times the value to your subscribers in sincerity and can do(ness) spirit.
Again, enjoyed the Jag video. And always the best.

    Hi John,
That car is awesome!!! But I’m more into Lamborghini’s and Ferrari’s … Any chance of a test drive? I would love to her the roar of that exhaust and feel the power from a standing start right up to 150 mph. Any chance? Let me know?
