More Flips Coming

It looks like my little video showing the Flip getting pecked by an ostrich worked. A sponsor has stepped forward and offered to replace my damaged Flip Ultra with some new Flip Minos. That’s pretty cool. I had a chance to try out the new Mino today during my meeting with Gigabyte (makers of the Flip Flap). I really like it. Look for a Flip Mino contest real soon.

New Top Affiliate Challenge Website Up

The Top Affiliate Challenge has got their new site up. You’ll be able to check out all the final 12 contestants and the three team leaders. Who are you cheering for? Who do you think will win? I should start a TAC pool or something.

Trading Dollars For Hours

Almost two years ago, I wrote a post call Trading Hours for Dollars. Michael Kwan is a little slow but he has finally responded with his own post call Trading Dollars For Hours. Michael maybe slow but he’s fairly creative with blog titles.

Vancouver In Times Long Past

The Net Chick, who is a local chick that has never came out for Dot Com Pho, has posted some neat photos of Vancouver from 50 years ago. There sure were a lot of neon signs back then. People dress funny too. I wonder how Vancouver will look 50 years from now?

The Net Chick needs to change the URL structure of her blog. How can you call yourself a net chick and not use SEO friendly URLs?

My First Try At PPC Marketing

Internet Business Daily has posted the results of his first attempt at PPC marketing. This kind of stuff is always an interesting read. The pros make PPC look easy but in real life, it’s a bit more involved than, “run ads, make money.” Unfortunately, Internet Business Daily lost money on his first attempt but gain some very valuable experience.

  • What was hard for me this week, and why?
  • What was my biggest waste of time this week?
  • What did I do this week that made me ashamed?

Almost Makes Me Want To Work There

Now, why can’t more offices end their day like this one? It almost makes me want to work there. Almost. Thanks to Ed Lau for the heads up.

Thanks for the link, I am gonna check it.

That office doesn't look bad, but I'd rather work at Dunder Mifflin, Inc. I'd probably be distracted by Jim though.

And I can't wait for Top Affiliate Challenge. I usually can't stand reality shows, but this one looks like it'll actually be worth watching.

Lucky you John getting sponsored..I wish i had one flip Minos or ultra..i want it!hehe

Concerning PPC: There is nothing in PPC that is not common sense. However it takes experience to see these things.

So does this mean that there is another Flip contest coming up?

Some nice info today John, thanks!

I wish the people where I work would do the same as in this video.

Glad Flip replaced your cam but it sure would be great for them to deciede to use TAC for a little marketing. After all, we are a bunch of bloggers AND most of us shoot a fair number of videos. BTW John I hope you enjoyed our lunch captured on video!

Ronda Del Boccio, the only female contestant

We should have had you ask Flip for prizes for the show. We approached them and they said their marketing department was too busy for additional promotional opportunities.

Their new cameras (and their old ones) rock and would have made great prizes for the contestants. Oh well...

As for the contest I can't wait for the rsults though I know that It's just hours away!

Ha! Okay, well, I'll try for next week then!

I assumed once a month, as the Third Tuesday events I organize are once a month -- None of which I've seen you at, either! ;) *wink*

Thank you for linking to the Seven Questions That Will Change Your Life! I am definitely going to answer them, perhaps even for the world to see. I've really enjoyed what you have to say since I found you through Millionaire Money Habits 2 weeks ago. I downloaded your ebook and have followed some of the processes. You've definitely had an impact on my outlook on blogging... thank you :)

Awesome, I'm glad you enjoyed them.

Yeah! What's wrong with you? Flip Flap is not a Gigabyte (tm) product LOL! Glad you like my MINO ;)

I'm actually getting two more Flip Flap from Gigabyte. But I'm giving away my original on my blog...oh...and a iPod nano too :P

Looking forward to the Top Affiliate Challenge. It should be awesome.

Experiences are gold in PPC market.

Huh... I remember my experience with Google Adsense!

Ya, they should have said banned from page 1. :)

Too bad that I can't talk bad about Google, because Blogger hosts my blog, one bad thing about them and my blog gets it!

Oh yikes... it's in the middle of Richmond -- I'm not going to be able to make it back in time for my workout scheduled with my trainer tomorrow afternoon. Do you guys hold it once a month? I'll be at the next one for sure! :D

One a month? That's lifetime on the Internet! Try once a week, officially. Unofficially, it's all the time.

Hmmm... Okay?! Why not... I guess the address is on this site? (provided it's close to downtown, anyhow)

1. Thanks for the link, John. I think the sentiment expressed in my post is pretty much in line with how you feel about a dot com lifestyle.

2. The Flip Flap is not made by Gigabyte. It's made by a Japanese toy company called Takara Tomy. Gigabyte just happened to brand it.

3. NetChick. No need to ask for a formal invitation, because everyone is welcome to join us for lunch. I guess we should expect to see you at Pho Lan tomorrow at 12:30pm?

:) Thanks for the link love ;)

And, yes, I know -- I need to change the format of my archived links. I've been so flippen busy for like, a year. I also need, desperately, to finally update WP, and my finish my new template. Who has the time when you're a netchick?

ps: I'd come to one of your Dot Com Pho, if you would invite me ;)

I guess you didn't see the open invite. Dot Com Pho is tomorrow. We're drawing the winner of the bag of stuff.

LOVE the old Vancouver photos from NetChick! Thanks
