In The Sunday Province
I will be in tomorrow’s edition of the Vancouver Province newspaper. Along with the Vancouver Sun, the Province is the city’s other major newspaper and the Sunday edition is their biggest issue with a readership of over 400,000.
Getting old world media coverage is one of the best way to increase readership and expand your brand. You really can not go “mainstream” without it. I wrote a post on how to get coverage by newspaper and magazines back on November. You should check it out if you haven’t done so.
Matt Mullenweg To Speak At Elite Retreat 2008
Shoemoney has announced that Matt Mullenweg of Wordpress and Automattic fame will be attending and speaking at this year’s Elite Retreat. In addition, Shoe has an incredible dinner booked for the first night and fully stocked H2 limos take all attendees and speakers around. The Retreat is almost sold out. Better reserve your spot if you want to go.

yeah same footer and everything … not so unique now days … but i would definately like to know which mybloglog plugin they are using that lets them remove the footer credentials … or is it just use of padding to hide the the footer text

I like uberaffiliates new design. It’s slick and non invasive. Congrats on the newspaper coverage too. I know I still read the paper, seeing articles on internet moguls always catches my attention.

I might try Unique Blog Designs for my blog in near future, though there are plenty of other talented designers around as well. It’s just matter of finding the right designer with lots of blog, web 2.0, etc. experience.
