Meet Me At The Vancouver Blogger Meetup Tomorrow
Tomorrow is the night for bloggers in Vancouver to meet up, drink, dine and network. We will be meeting at The Black Water Cafe at 280 Carrall Street in downtown Vancouver at 7PM. So far, 25 people have confirmed for the event. I’m not sure how the cafe is going to react to that but it’s their fault for accepting us! Actually, I’m sure they’ll be very happy with the exposure this will give them.
If you wish to join us for this meeting for Blogger minds, then please RSVP here. The RSVP deadline is 11:30PM tonight. See you there! I hope the Black Water has WiFi.
Still have Time To Win a Flip
My contest with Bic Promo Pen is coming to a close. If you haven’t entered yet, then you have until the end of the month to do so. It might win you a Flip digital video camcorder!
Win A Bag Of Cool Stuff
If you’re a Photochopper, then Michael Kwan has contest for you. He’s giving away a bag of stuff for the best photochop of me. But you better hurry. The contest deadline is the end of this month.
BlogOnExpo Looking for Sponsors
The second Blog On Expo starts next month and there’s still some sponsorship space left if any advertisers are interested. Tell them John Chow sent you to get a special rate. Email Aditya at blogonexpo@gmail.com for more information.
One Upping The Shoe
Shoemoney posted that he recently passed the 60,000 comments mark. That’s a lot of comments for any blog. Of course, it also made me check how many comments my blog has.

Better luck next time, Shoe.

One of the most common complaint (or excuse) I hear from potential new bloggers is they don’t know how to install WordPress. Terms like FTP and CPanel are like a foreign language and setting up a database might as well be setting up the space shuttle for a launch. Because of the technology barrier, many would-be bloggers never start their blogs...
