More Mobile Gadgets for Mobile Dot Com Moguls
written by John Chow on August 9th, 2008
Back in May, I showed you a couple of gadgets that I bring with me when I’m on the road. While the Dot Com Lifestyle allows me to run my blog from anywhere in the world, I can’t do that if I’m not packing the right equipment.
Since I’m on the road again and won’t back home until August 25th, I figured I’ll show you two more items from my laptop bag. One of these days, I will show everything that is in my laptop bag. However, the gadgets keep changing all the time. So, even if I showed everything, it will be for that time period only. Still, it may make for an interesting article.

Usefull tools, it’s true if every country will be different tools and you prepare it. and one question : are you not confuse to use it
Reply to this commentThat’s the beauty of modern technology John. Everything is really possible especially in communication and blogging.
Reply to this commentThe power squids are really nice. One day I will break down and buy one.
Reply to this commentI’ve been wanting to get one of those power squids too. But for now a standard surge protecting power strip will do.
Reply to this commentI got one in the bag they gave us on the eBay DevCon back in June in Chicago. It is very useful if you visit countries around the world.
Reply to this commentI was expecting you to talk about your laptop and other things but never did I think you would be talking about power related equipment
Nice surprise!
Reply to this commentI think you got that power cylinder thing a little confused. What you referred to as Taiwan and China is actually Hong Kong. Taiwan and China both use the same plug as US/Canada, but the voltage is different.
Reply to this commentCan you just stick with the 12-second video blogs? Anything more than that is just too long.
Reply to this commentOh yeah… I thought your flipping of that power cylinder was pretty slick.
Does it actually have auto power adjustments? What I mean is: does the cylinder make all the different input voltage of different countries trivial by not needing to care about it?
Reply to this commentHey John. How you doing? Great as always
Seems interesting

Very handy travel companions for me.
Reply to this commentI love those power squids. I have one for every employee that travels. They are one of the best things that are available today. Great Post
Reply to this commentThat universal plug is freakin sweet!

Very cool gadgets.
Well, as a matter of fact, it’s like technology and business works hand in hand. Actually it allows you to run your blog or business from anywhere in the world.

I just love gadgets and the more the better. I am waiting for the day I can just carry a robot with me and command him to do everything, including auto post via my voice on to my blog, whew, now that would be cool!
