More Mobile Gadgets for Mobile Dot Com Moguls

Back in May, I showed you a couple of gadgets that I bring with me when I’m on the road. While the Dot Com Lifestyle allows me to run my blog from anywhere in the world, I canโ€™t do that if I’m not packing the right equipment.

Since I’m on the road again and won’t back home until August 25th, I figured I’ll show you two more items from my laptop bag. One of these days, I will show everything that is in my laptop bag. However, the gadgets keep changing all the time. So, even if I showed everything, it will be for that time period only. Still, it may make for an interesting article.

  2. The power squids are really nice. One day I will break down and buy one.

I’ve been wanting to get one of those power squids too. But for now a standard surge protecting power strip will do.

I got one in the bag they gave us on the eBay DevCon back in June in Chicago. It is very useful if you visit countries around the world.

I was expecting you to talk about your laptop and other things but never did I think you would be talking about power related equipment ๐Ÿ™‚

    Nice surprise!

I think you got that power cylinder thing a little confused. What you referred to as Taiwan and China is actually Hong Kong. Taiwan and China both use the same plug as US/Canada, but the voltage is different.

  6. dcr says:

Can you just stick with the 12-second video blogs? Anything more than that is just too long. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  7. BusyBlogging says:

Oh yeah… I thought your flipping of that power cylinder was pretty slick.

Does it actually have auto power adjustments? What I mean is: does the cylinder make all the different input voltage of different countries trivial by not needing to care about it?
