More Mobile Gadgets for Mobile Dot Com Moguls

Back in May, I showed you a couple of gadgets that I bring with me when I’m on the road. While the Dot Com Lifestyle allows me to run my blog from anywhere in the world, I can’t do that if I’m not packing the right equipment.

Since I’m on the road again and won’t back home until August 25th, I figured I’ll show you two more items from my laptop bag. One of these days, I will show everything that is in my laptop bag. However, the gadgets keep changing all the time. So, even if I showed everything, it will be for that time period only. Still, it may make for an interesting article.

Universal power cylinder and power squid, both very nifty and useful mobile gadgets.

Great post John! very helpful...i haven't traveled out of the country much...but i'll know what i need when i do! thanks!

I just love gadgets and the more the better. I am waiting for the day I can just carry a robot with me and command him to do everything, including auto post via my voice on to my blog, whew, now that would be cool!

Well John,
I am feeling jealous of you now! . I have been trying to get my hands on those geeky items since a month, and voila you already posted before I do.Well I think I need to wait until my friend returns back from London next week to lay my hands on those.

Very cool gadgets.

Well, as a matter of fact, it’s like technology and business works hand in hand. Actually it allows you to run your blog or business from anywhere in the world.

Those are really new stuffs for me. The power cylinder is very impressive. I may need them later when I travel more extensively...
Thanks for sharing them :)

That universal plug is freakin sweet!

I love those power squids. I have one for every employee that travels. They are one of the best things that are available today. Great Post

For me, all I need is my Nokia N81 8GB and if I have the luxury of luggage space - my Macbook. :) Very handy travel companions for me.

Hey John. How you doing? Great as always :D
Seems interesting

@dcr:
LOL

Oh yeah... I thought your flipping of that power cylinder was pretty slick.

Does it actually have auto power adjustments? What I mean is: does the cylinder make all the different input voltage of different countries trivial by not needing to care about it?

Can you just stick with the 12-second video blogs? Anything more than that is just too long. ;-)

I think you got that power cylinder thing a little confused. What you referred to as Taiwan and China is actually Hong Kong. Taiwan and China both use the same plug as US/Canada, but the voltage is different.

I was expecting you to talk about your laptop and other things but never did I think you would be talking about power related equipment :)

Nice surprise!

I got one in the bag they gave us on the eBay DevCon back in June in Chicago. It is very useful if you visit countries around the world.

The power squids are really nice. One day I will break down and buy one.

I've been wanting to get one of those power squids too. But for now a standard surge protecting power strip will do.

Usefull tools, it's true if every country will be different tools and you prepare it. and one question : are you not confuse to use it

That's the beauty of modern technology John. Everything is really possible especially in communication and blogging.
