Motive Interactive Affiliate & Twitter Contest

written by John Chow on May 8, 2009

Build Your Online Business Now

My friend Zac Johnson and Motive Interactive have teamed up together to do another affiliate and Twitter contest. This time, Motive is offering up prizes for not only new affiliates, but anyone who follows them on Twitter and blogs about this contest (like what I’m doing right now). This contest promotion runs through the month of May, and there is NO LIMIT on the amount of winners/prizes for their tiered earnings portion. One Twitter winner will be announced, for three weeks, along with one blogger prize at the end of the month.

Three Ways To Win

  1. Join Motive Interactive and Earn within any of the Commission Levels during the month of May. Contest tier prizes only awarded to new Motive affiliates signed up through this blog during May 2009.
  2. Follow and Tweet this contest on Twitter. Just “tweet” the following from your Twitter account and you are automatically entered to win a new iPod Shuffle or 8GB iPod Nano.

RT to Win: Follow @motive and @moneyreign to make money and win big prizes! http://xr.com/zjmotive

  3. Blog about this contest promotion on your site. If you have a blog, simple link back to this blog page and talk about this contest and you will be entered to win a new 16GB iPod Nano.

You can see the complete rules over at Zac Johnson’s blog. Good luck!

yeah but you shouldn't only use twitter to run contests its unethical

almir’s last blog post: Review Of The Email Messenger “Mostly Known” As AWEBER

I don't use Twitter for that, but I don't get how that's unethical. It's not hurting anyone in any way.

This contest uses twitter - blogging - and a revenue based contest to promote Motive Interactive. So it's well rounded it's going very well so far.

I am not against the contest,I consider them to be interesting events in the net.

I love contests. Free stuff, fun and excitement. Like miniature stimulus packages.

Most of them will just participate for the contest. I doubt that most of them will stick to it after the contest is over....:)

Internetsalsa’s last blog post: Are you loyal to Twitter?

That is a big worry in this kind of frictionless and low-barrier-to-entry contests. Just the risk you have to take if you want to gain traction fast.

Jake Stone’s last blog post: Finnish army to buy Nintendo Wii game stations

That's a negative thought, but you're probably right.

I will pass on this contest for now. Although I saw Motive's Founder followed me on twitter. I guess either I am really that important, or they were just random following...

Didn't you hear? You are important! Your contribution to online habitat improvement has been remarkable, all those tools that you create and provide for us.

Jake Stone’s last blog post: Finnish army to buy Nintendo Wii game stations

Don't pass because you feel you would not win I am picking random from like 30 people - the odds of winning are very very good. I use random.org to pick.

never random always a reason.. :)

I'm starting to like Twitter contests. Good luck everyone!

I think its the primary reason I signed up for Twitter. Contests are a great motivation!

Aman@BullsBattleBears’s last blog post: Win a 40″ Samsung LCD HDTV!!

Yeah but you also need to have a more of a motivational factor than just winning contest because it takes all the fun out of just simply interacting with other bloggers online that alone is fun

almir’s last blog post: Review Of The Email Messenger “Mostly Known” As AWEBER

You can't beat these contests where all you have to do is tweet to win.

i will joint the contest

I like how people are using Twitter for contests. It's a great way to gain more readers.

Surely a great way to get more exposure. You must have good content to gain readers...

I do agree to some extent but not is entirely true you can have great content but they can still unsubscribe to your content as well

almir’s last blog post: Review Of The Email Messenger “Mostly Known” As AWEBER

Content is definitely king.

TYCP Entertainment Magazine’s last blog post: Courtney Van Dusen Interview

@TYPC, yes I also like how they do it. Minimal cost and as a result tribe of marketing drones, willing to pass along the message to their contacts.

Jake Stone’s last blog post: Finnish army to buy Nintendo Wii game stations

Yep. It's so easy to get the word out about anything on Twitter. At least I find it to be.

another great contest! good luck to everyone!!

I agree good luck to everyone considering its great to win but I wouldn't join because I never win anything
