MSI Night at New York, New York
We headed off to New York, New York for a party with MSI. No, not the New York, New York in the USA. You see, Taipei has a New York, New York as well, complete with its own mini statute of liberty.
MSI is a leading manufacturer of motherboards and other computer components. They’ve recently entered the mini notebook race with the new MSI Wind. Of all the sub notes I’ve seen at Computex, the Wind is the one I would buy. The best thing I like about the Wind is the full size keyboard. I couldn’t get use to the small keyboard used by the Asus EeePC. As luck with have it, MSI was giving away a Wind to one lucky party goer.
In addition to the Wind contest, the MSI party features great food, live cover band, MSI dancers and a beer drinking contest. Overall, a very fun event.

Unlucky in the contest although I thought the other bloke cheated, there should have been a time penalty each time you dropped the ball.
Reply to this commentIn the game of blow the ball through the glass of water, in my opinion if the ball fall you have to go to the beginning. In you turn the ball didn’t fall and he dropped 2 twice. Totally unfair.
Reply to this commentI was just writing that, when i looked up and saw your comment.. i was going to say you should lose when your ball falls but starting over is just as fair.. stupid.. you should have imo
Reply to this commentYep, they should have had some type of rules specified - or maybe they did - but I think John should have won based on the ball staying on the whole time.
Reply to this comment~Terry
Yeah, I agree. He should have had to start again when the ball dropped!
Reply to this commentLook like good IT party, nice John!
Reply to this commentNot into drinking beer like that any longer, even though it wasn’t serious chugging. About 4 of those beers that quick and I’d be blowin chunks.
Reply to this commentThat one guy ending up blowing chunks after doing the final. Not exactly the way you want to impress the girls at a party
Hey John, did “blowing chunks guy” win the chug contest or was it a draw?
Blowing balls and blowing chunks party

Reply to this commentI guess I didn’t watch the video till the end.
Reply to this commentGreat life , as long as there are great girls , good food and music.
Reply to this commentWe all need that
Reply to this commentAw John, can’t believe you lost by a second! Looks like fun anyways.
Reply to this commentThe guy who won the beer contest had the gut to go along with it.
Reply to this commentYeah, he definitely looked he has a few years of training up his sleeve.
Reply to this commentJohn,
Sound like a great fun! MSI is not that ‘owning’ the market anymore, doesn’t it?
Reply to this commentGreat exhibition John
Reply to this commentCool video! I especially like the dancing girls!
Reply to this commentYou should have won the notebook John. The other guy dropped the ball twice and should have had to start over or been disqualified.
Reply to this commentMan all this technology in one place. John, you look like a kid in a candy store!
Reply to this commentNice party. Are these parties invite only?
Reply to this commentAll the parties are invite only.
Reply to this commentThe only thing I don’t like about the food like that at parties is it’s wide open and anything that’s floating around in the air, falling off people’s clothes or hair, goes into the food. If you’re eating early it’s somewhat ok but late comers are getting the extra “toppings”
Maybe that’s why the guy was blowing chunks..too much toppings

But, his ping pong ball fell down! MSI is popular for its graphic cards and mobo’s. Like Mr. Chow, I prefer Gigabyte over MSI though. Rock on. I love this blog.
Reply to this commentDang, if only you blew quick and just let it fall off the cup
It would be funny if your buddy had to start all over for dropping the ball.
As for the shirt…you’re just an evil evil man lol.

p.s. They should hire more energetic dancers..
