My New Ebook: Google + for Business – Download It Now

While Facebook might be all the rage, more and more of my promotional efforts have been going into Google+. There are some good reasons to work on Google+ over Facebook and it’s all explained in a new eBook I commissioned Murray Newlands to write.

Download Google + for Business

Instead of putting the eBook behind pay wall or email opt in, I’ve decided to make the book available to everyone for free. Nothing to buy and no opt in required! All Murray and I ask is that you add us to your Google+ account and help spread the word about our new book by telling/sending it to ten of your friends.

Your feedback on Google + for Business is welcome. Please tell us what you think about it in the comments below.

Thanks for the book John. I look forward to implementing Google+ in the near future after doing some final tweaks to my current social marketing efforts. On a side note, what does getting a commissioned book like this cost to have done – just a rough idea will suffice if you care to answer.

    1. [email protected] You can make one yourself easily by writing the content you want to talk about in a word doc then exporting it/saving it as a pdf or selecting print option then saving it as a pdf…boom, instant ebook! If you’re looking for someone els to write it then it’s a matter of negotiating a split between profits or doing it for the +1’s

      Just a suggestion 😉

[email protected] I have already written and published an Ebook myself. I was just wondering the costs involved with having someone else do it. Thank you anyway for your reply.

Google Plus is not a hit, not even close to FB.

    1. [email protected] You may not think they are a “hit” however any amount of +1’s you get do affect your site’s ranking within Google’s SERPs. Plus several pieces of my content have reached the first page on Google listings and because of Google Plus my picture shows up next to my listing which also greatly improves click thru rate..

Now I’m not saying they will replace Facebook, but it is extremely valuable and worth adding to your portfolio as an online marketer 😉

[email protected]@fas And that is the reason why you should be working on Google+!

  12. Hey about a week ago I just had a discussion with Murray in the comments section of his State Of Publishing interview on OddBlogger where I mentioned how G Plus is becoming a factor for ranking sites within Google search engine. He was definitely the right one commissioned to do the ebook 😉

I finally made my Google Plus business page a few weeks ago and the platform is just more fluid and less cluttered plus sharing videos is easier being that Google owns YouTube.

Thank you for the great run down of how Google+ works and how I should focus optimizing it. I understand how to set up your business attacked to your personal profile. What happens when your business already has a Gmail account. Google requires a profile but it doesn’t feel right for

Thank you for the great run down of how Google+ works and how I should focus optimizing it. I’ve been avoiding it because I can’t figure out the following scenario.

What happens when your business already has a Gmail account. Google requires a profile but it doesn’t feel right for me to make myself another “personal” profile under this business account. Google specifies the profile has to be a person and a profile is required to add a business.

It’s obvious how to add a business to your personal Gmail account but anyone from my business wanting to post to Google+ would already be signed in to the business email. Each person couldn’t possibly add my company to their personal email. How does Ford Motor Company handle this situation? Who is defined as the personal profile?

I just don’t get it. Any ideas how to approach this?
