NASCAR Head Games
written by John Chow
This video was taken in Vegas during our trip to the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show. We’re still not sure exactly what it was, or if we were doing it correctly. Never the less, it sure was a lot of fun! Towards the end of the video, Sarah started laughing too hard and couldn’t hold the camera steady.

Looks like you had them all beat!!! LOL…That game must have had some high tech sensors coming from the projector.
Indeed !! NICE
thats pretty neat, im sure they could develop some really neat games with that technology. i dont think i would be able to play that for too long though, or at least not while i was sober…
LOL! You guys are too funny!
Okay, I have no idea what I just saw. LOL. How exactly do the controls work? It’s like the EyeToy on crack.
We still haven’t figure it out how it works. At least I didn’t hurt my head.
How do you find this stuff? Or does it find you?
This one kinda found us.
We have those in malls in Chicago. I suppose the sensors are in the screen and react to the shadow by transmitting the signal back to the computer program that feeds the projector.
I see you changed your comment format. I like the organization and the response feature…It’ll be a lot easier to follow who is responding to what comment.
Yes I just wrote a blog post about it: http://www.johnchow.com/threading-the-comments/
That’s awesome! I need one of those at my house. By the looks of it I don’t think it’s used for more than just a good laugh.
Yea this is so cool. I saw this in a movie theater I went to. The projector was on the ceiling pointing to the floor. It was really cool. The game was different but it was really sweet.
That was cool !
That surely looks like a hell of a funny game to play with a couple of friends and a load of beer, props John!
hehe, cool video
