Need A Light?
written by John Chow on May 17th, 2007
I’ve seen some big lamps before but this one takes the cake. If the Vancouver Police had lamps like this one in their interrogation rooms, those bad guys would talk real fast! I would buy one but it won’t fit in my house.

take note of the proportion between the lamp and the chair/desk. How did the desk withstand?
Reply to this commentMaybe it is bolted to the floor or the lamp is made of lightweight material.
Reply to this commentI love lamp.

Reply to this commentWhere s it from? Which art gallery?
I’m surprised the regular wooden desk shown can bare the weight of this mammoth
Reply to this commentLooks like something from “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” set. It would be interesting to have one of those in my house though LOL. People are going to be like “hey Cheap, what’s going on?”

Reply to this commentHow did you manage to stare at it
Next thing you know, John is going to post about how he’s partially blind in his left eye.
Reply to this commentThat copycat has an earlier article on how to stop people from copying your stuff!
And also, that nut has copied everything including the comments and other tools bar!!

Reply to this commentPerhaps she/he’s trying to put up 6,000 duplicate sites, too!
Reply to this commentYou see, with a lamp that size, the problem becomes accessing the on/off switch on the top of the unit. I suppose you could unplug it, but those 220 plugs aren’t that convenient to be plugging in/unplugging all the time.
Reply to this commentWho knows, it could be clapper or voice-activated. “Lights out” *clap* *clap* LOL.
Reply to this commentI hope you were wearing sunblock.
Reply to this commentI would use this to tan myself… or maybe to attack people with LIGHT! Evil.
Reply to this commentImpresive. Maybe it is too big for personal use

Reply to this commentI wonder how many watts that bulb is running on…not exactly an energy-saver, but it could brighten up someone’s day alright.
Reply to this commentyea it can take the sun out in nights
Reply to this commentI love lamp! I don’t know why I’m yelling.
Reply to this commentI’m surprised that light isn’t bright enough to shine through your skin.
Reply to this commentI’m wondering, John…do you read the comments on this blog anymore? You have a lot of fans and an equal number of detractors.
As someone who writes unbiased reviews (for NO pay) I’m wondering how your readers take your opinions seriously. You are obviously not unbiased if you are paid to say good things.
On my beauty & fashion review column called What Works http://www.advicesisters.net/whatworkscol3.html and on my blog: http://www.advicesisters.net/advicesistersblog I have offered my unbiased opinion on literally thousands of products, services, events and even cruises. I am certain that the reason readers come to my site http://www.advvicesisters.net and my columns is simply that I am trustworthy. You may not agree with my opinion, and that’s fine, but at least it is a genuine one that is not motivated by money.
I’d love to hear your response.
Reply to this commentI read all comments. I am completely unbiased in my reviews. Here’s an example: http://www.johnchow.com/seven-day-system-for-making-money-online-but-for-who/
He’s going to try and request a refund. Good luck on that.
Reply to this commentDon’t be scared little John…
Reply to this commentLove the lamp. I’m guessing they have to hang it from the ceiling to keep it standing on such a tiny desk. If I had a lamp like that on my desk, I would…probably avoid that desk like the plague.
Reply to this commentthats a big lamp…it looks almost as big as my room !!
Reply to this commentI am amazed that you responded to my query…and I’m impressed. Thanks for that!
