Well, I have no hard time believe that people who knows well what they want are going to succeed… it would be more interesting to see how many student of Yaro Starak’s membership site are failing to succeed, to understand the succeed and failing rate.
I agree. Although the program seems to be promising and I would love to take it, at least the blog mastermind one, I really don’t have the money to pay for it lol.
But I would really like to see how many of the students fail out of the ones that succeed. Cuse it is awesome to know that it works, but it is also good to know if it is more the ones that succeed than the one that dont.
Although, if some people can succeed by taking the program, we might be able to agree that others that don’t, are because they are doing something wrong…
With Yaro being from down under, the new FTC laws about testimonials don’t cover him. I too would also be interested in seeing what the “typical” results are.
One problem with “typical” results is that it doesn’t always take into account who actually followed the program, and who gave up before the ball really got rolling.
At this point until I see more testimonials, I don’t think I can justify the money yet. Once they can point to a lot more successful examples or have typical result data, I’ll be more willing to drop the cash.

For paying that amount of money, I guess that member are taking it seriously, unless they have money to fire. What is strange is that he has about 200 members, and we only get a few testimonial. I’m working on a membership site that will make everyone sucessful for sure. It’s not a scam, and my idea is genuine. Just need more business partners before making it live. I have participated to many membership site so far, so I know what people are looking for, and what these membership site are lacking.

Unless this site was launched after Daily Blog Tips, Daniel already had a pretty solid following. I’m curious how well this program will work for someone who is just starting or doesn’t have a huge following yet.
Membership sites seem to build on themselves. The more people who sign up, the more popular they are and the more likely other people will sign up. I imagine it is pretty tough for new bloggers to build as quick as Daniel did.

I’m getting busy with my project about creating an out of the box membership site, but I posted a new post today… my blog is far from being dead, don’t worry.
It just goes to show that there is some serious value in Yaro’s offering. Not many people have case stgudies like this to support their claims! Excellent stuff!
I have learnt affiliate marketing for long, and keep learning new stuff online. I went throught some of Yaro’s products and I don’t have bad nor positive opinion about it. I’ve seen both better and worst products. I can now create my own membership site which will cover everything other membership site are lacking. Don’t misunderstand me, I respect Yaro, and have been reading his blog even before he got famous.
In the beginning, I thought Daniel and Yaro at the same level, now I know it was Yaro who guided Daniel to create his membership site.

Membership based websites are nothing new. Copyblogger (Brian Clark) has one of the highest selling membership courses around (Teaching Sells) which I hear is a great program although WAY more expensive.
I would be interested to hear if John is considering a membership site.. Honestly, it just doesn’t seem like his style.

I already experienced those membership site (except darren’s one) with some business partners, and we are about to create a better membership site soon, where you’ll be able to earn money from it. I won’t talk about it in details now, but you’ll certainly see it on John Chow once it will be live.

Daniel is a seasoned internet pro, not everyone will have results like he did. That said, the membership program is definitely worthwhile, just not so sure about $1000 valuable.
I am sure he earns more then that from DBT.
What advertising does DBT has that would make it earn more?
His mailing list rarely includes affiliate ads and his on site ads are minimal. Half the time he has Adsense for his skyscraper.
I’m not saying he doesn’t make great money, but I don’t get the impression DBT is as big of a cash cow as Johnchow.com

I have a simillar Macintosh as Darren Rowse, except mine is in black and grey… (new design with black apple)
It’s really important to keep our table as neat as possible because it may affect your performance. I use laptop and put it on the table, but both sides of my laptop full of other stuff, I’ll need to clean it shortly.

For example, you write “within five days of lunch.” Do you mean he took everyone out to lunch five days before, or do you mean “launch”? You should hire me to proofread your blog.
