Presenting At The Vancouver Business Network

Vancouver Business Network

I will be doing a presentation for the Vancouver Business Network Meetup group on Tuesday, July 27 at the Ceilis Irish Pub in downtown Vancouver. Everyone is invited but please RSVP. The fun starts at 6PM.

The title of my presentation will be Living The Dot Com Lifestyle: How To Have Time, Money and Location Freedom. If this sounds familiar, it’s because I published this as an eBook a few weeks ago as part of my Blog Profit Camp launch. If you’ve already read the book, then you’ll have a good idea on what I’ll be talking about. However, reading it and hearing it live offers a completely different experience. I’m sure you’ll get additional value out of it.

Living The Dot Com Lifestyle details the rules and methods I use to live anywhere in the world and have money come in even when I am not working. Last year, I spent over 100 days traveling with my family and during those 100 days, I made more money than I’ve ever made before. Living The Dot Com Lifestyle explains how I did it. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone.

  1. Wish I could get to the event, I don’t suppose you’re coming to Australia at any time soon?

It would be great to see you at a live presentation down under!

    1. Ryan McLean says:

Ditto to that one! I would love to see a presentation from John…in real life. I am from Australia also….I don’t like my chances though.

I guess I will have to keep watching them over the internet and applying the lessons to my online business

      1. I’m lovin’ the dot com lifestyle 🙂

        1. Ryan McLean says:

          As am I my friend…as am I!

        2. Lakhyajyoti says:

Living in internet life style-I am in love with it.

    2. Yeah.. while you’re doing all that traveling you should be giving some more presentations across the world 🙂

      1. Quite agree with you … in this way you will expand your empire to other countries as well.

  2. I am sure these guys and gals are understanding better what you are talking about than the people at that Austrian Do that not even knew what Twitter is 😉 SY

    1. d3so says:

Of course they will. It’s a business network meetup.

      1. They probably won’t fall for the free beer trick then 🙂

        1. Ryan McLean says:

          Hey!

No need to knock us Australians! We know what twitter is. My baby daughter is only 4 months old and she has a twitter account

          1. SY wrote Austrians, have a look again.

And she referred to a post on this blog.

          2. LOL…at first glance, I also thought Australians…nice corrections.

          3. d3so says:

lol. I bet your four month old doesn’t even use it. You using it doesn’t count.
            YOU FAIL!

        2. So, no paypal donation neither for poor John then? 😉 SY

          1. Bidet says:

            Haha probably not this time.

  3. I’ll try to make it to this event. Are you going to be taping it as usual?

    1. John Chow says:

I’ll try to tape it but not sure how it will come out. 🙂

      1. Yeah it would be great to have a video for those of us who can’t go there.

        1. d3so says:

I hope you will do that John.Waiting for your video.

        2. Having a video of the meet up presentation will be good even for those who can make it to the live event.

Seeing it live and being able to review it later is always beneficial.

It’s like traveling and then watching videos of it afterwards. You can noice some details you’ve missed.

          1. Definitely, it makes it accessible to people who arn’t able to attend…

          2. Come on John, you have an international readership on this blog, what is the problem to record this event? SY

          3. I have to agree, a recording would be great.

Very beneficial to thos who live on the other side of the world and would like to see it. Hope you do record it

          4. Bidet says:

Yes recording it would be great for those who can’t be there to see it in person. Hope youre able to record it.

      2. I’ll make it there if I can. Haven’t been at the meet up yet so it’ll be interesting to network with everybody.

Taping it would be good for all your readers.

        1. All are waiting to get your video.

So John please do not forget to tape it.

    1. I think every presentation for John goes well…they all want to hear him speak…regardless of what he actually says, they know it’ll be valuable.

      1. PPC Ian says:

That is a good point. John’s experience in blogging is so tremendous that it’s impossible for the presentation not to go well!

          1. Lets see … this totally depends on if other events are going on … and this one is weekday as well.

  11. PPC Ian says:

    John,
That is awesome! Congrats! It seems like you are presenting a lot these days, that’s something I’d really like to do more of. I had one big presentation at Stanford this year, but aspire to be more of a circuit speaker like yourself!
    Best,
    Ian

    1. d3so says:

What did you speak about @ Stanford?

      1. PPC Ian says:

        d3so,
I spoke at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business about PPC, SEO, and Social Media for two hours, with the bulk of my time on PPC. It was quite an honor. If you’re interested in watching the presentation, the video is on my blog (#1 post under my favorite posts on the sidebar). Moreover, if you download my free eBook, you also get my Powerpoint presentation.
        All the best,
        Ian
