Vancouver Business Network

I will be doing a presentation for the Vancouver Business Network Meetup group on Tuesday, July 27 at the Ceilis Irish Pub in downtown Vancouver. Everyone is invited but please RSVP. The fun starts at 6PM.

The title of my presentation will be Living The Dot Com Lifestyle: How To Have Time, Money and Location Freedom. If this sounds familiar, it’s because I published this as an eBook a few weeks ago as part of my Blog Profit Camp launch. If you’ve already read the book, then you’ll have a good idea on what I’ll be talking about. However, reading it and hearing it live offers a completely different experience. I’m sure you’ll get additional value out of it.

Living The Dot Com Lifestyle details the rules and methods I use to live anywhere in the world and have money come in even when I am not working. Last year, I spent over 100 days traveling with my family and during those 100 days, I made more money than I’ve ever made before. Living The Dot Com Lifestyle explains how I did it. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone.

Very cool that you're getting out and chatting with many of those folks face to face. Good luck with the presentation.

Sounds like it could be interesting to give a presentation at a pub. Hope it goes well!

Yes on ebook we wont be able to see and hear your in between sense of humour.

Would love to attend but ....

But any way we hope that you will add video of that.

wow u r truely awsome john... when will u come to malaysia??? give us some light john... we need it..

That's cool that you are using meetup.com. I don't live anywhere near Vancouver but hopefully people who do attend as it seems like it will be good :)

All the cool events happen in Vancouver don't they?

Not all cool events but quite a few of them do take place in Vancouver, BC.

Cup Cake, Burger competition, 2010 Surrey Fusion ...

Boy Vancouver is really happening city.

I hope the recording of the presentation comes out well. It would be nice to view it on you website John.

It will be really great.I hope John will record it for us.

John,
That is awesome! Congrats! It seems like you are presenting a lot these days, that's something I'd really like to do more of. I had one big presentation at Stanford this year, but aspire to be more of a circuit speaker like yourself!
Best,
Ian

What did you speak about @ Stanford?

d3so,
I spoke at Stanford's Graduate School of Business about PPC, SEO, and Social Media for two hours, with the bulk of my time on PPC. It was quite an honor. If you're interested in watching the presentation, the video is on my blog (#1 post under my favorite posts on the sidebar). Moreover, if you download my free eBook, you also get my Powerpoint presentation.
All the best,
Ian

Going to go check that out now. Oh, and thanks for the follow :)

Wow thats quite an honor to give a presentation at such a prestigious university. Good work.

Great Ian ... so we had hidden diamond here.

Me too I'm little too far from Vancouver. Good for those who will be able to make it!!

Same problem is with me also.Me from india.

This is going to be an amazing night! I can't wait for it. It was great meeting you at the last event John, and I really look forward to listening to you speak on July 27th.

-Bryan

congrats on the speaking arrangement...i wonder how many you agree to do a year?

That has got to be fun, John! Try to get it on video or at least podcasted, and we can also see/hear you in the thick of action. TDCL is truly an achievable dream to all who plan, preservere and purpose - share and inspire more people, John. =)

Howdy John

First I will like to say good luck @ the event..and how many events you do throughout the year?

This looks like a great presentation, good luck with it.

Every presentation by John is a great presentation.

Yes and maximum have great sense of humour as well.

Hope it goes well for you!

I think every presentation for John goes well...they all want to hear him speak...regardless of what he actually says, they know it'll be valuable.

That is a good point. John's experience in blogging is so tremendous that it's impossible for the presentation not to go well!

You never know...

Lets see ... this totally depends on if other events are going on ... and this one is weekday as well.

Im sure it will, he has a lot of experience giving presentations.

I'll try to make it to this event. Are you going to be taping it as usual?

I'll try to tape it but not sure how it will come out. :)

Yeah it would be great to have a video for those of us who can't go there.

I hope you record it as well :)

Having a video of the meet up presentation will be good even for those who can make it to the live event.

Seeing it live and being able to review it later is always beneficial.

It's like traveling and then watching videos of it afterwards. You can noice some details you've missed.

Definitely, it makes it accessible to people who arn't able to attend...

Come on John, you have an international readership on this blog, what is the problem to record this event? SY

I have to agree, a recording would be great.

Very beneficial to thos who live on the other side of the world and would like to see it. Hope you do record it

Same here! I would definitely watch the video and learn a lot!
Best,
Ian

I hope you will do that John.Waiting for your video.

Yes recording it would be great for those who can't be there to see it in person. Hope youre able to record it.

I'll make it there if I can. Haven't been at the meet up yet so it'll be interesting to network with everybody.

Taping it would be good for all your readers.

All are waiting to get your video.

So John please do not forget to tape it.

Don't worry John, we tape all the seminars. Thanks for blogging about the event :)

Here we are ... :)

Thanks.

I am sure these guys and gals are understanding better what you are talking about than the people at that Austrian Do that not even knew what Twitter is ;-) SY
