Purpose Inc. Poker Tournament at Affiliate Summit West

The Purpose Inc. poker tournament at Affiliate Summit West 2011 is a two day event that pits the best affiliate marketers (but worst poker players) in the world against each other in a friendly game (only $100 buy in) of Texas Holdem Poker. While a few players may take it seriously, the event is more to just network, relax and get to know your fellow affiliates. In addition to the poker action, players could get massages at the table and dine on super big In and Out burgers.

The top ten players from each day advances to the final. I wasn’t able to make the top ten. I came in 12th, which was better than I thought I would do. There was a $100 bounty placed on my head. Whoever took me out of the tournament got $100. The winner was XY7.com.

Playing in the tournament was a lot of fun and I learn quite a bit about how to play poker. Day two of the tournament goes tonight at 8PM at the Mirage Hotel poker room. Who will win it all? I still can’t believe you ate that whole burger! My wife said to me, he has played before huh? John told me he never plays poker. That was right after you took her big pot!

I’d like to see how John approached biting into it. It would be stunning if he could bite all eight layers at once.
