Relaxing On The Highroad

After 10 hours at the convention center today it sure was nice to be kick back and relax. And there wasn’t a much better way of doing that than to party with the people at Highroad Communications. Highroad handles PR for Microsoft Canada and they spent a lot of time showing us all the new XBox 360 titles for the coming year. Their party was at The Standard hotel in West Hollywood. It was a really nice place, a bit dark, but nice.

I had a great time breaking in my new writer by getting him to order me drinks that would be considered embarrassing for a guy to order, like a Chi-Chi or Pina Colada. Lucky for him, the bartenders didn’t know how to make those drinks. However, they did gave him a strange look.
