This program really is genius! Just look at the stats – this is the 25th batch of 10 blogs.

Man this is one of the best link baits I have seen. Great success and it not only gives John a simple review the reader more or less gets hooked on to the site.
You do a review and start reading John’s site there is enough to keep you going and put in a few more links on your site.
Each review am sure = atleast 5-7 links !

Technorati has me locked at 262 right now. I guess it will stay there until they unban me.

Engadget has lost their top spot are currently ranked #6!!!
China is the world’s fastest growing market, so it doesn’t surprise me that “Asian blogs” are starting to infiltrate Technorati. We turn to Japan and Korea for cell phone news too, don’t you know.
With yesterday’s (03/01) comment activity, I appeared on you Top Commentators, and was lifted from about 113k to 69k.

John an idea – Now that you have about 250+ people who have reviewed your site how about having another contest where the entry criteria is to do a review and get something more than a link in one posting – How about a Top 5 review link section ?

I feel your pain, Alex. I think I was 7 or something. By then, people are like “eh…that’s good for now”.
I go by the title of the blog. If the title sounds cool I read the review.
I’m the same. It’s not about where it is on the list (though they might play a psychological role).

yep, i’ve received a good measure of hits from the release of this batch. it’s died off a little, but now i’m receiving tons of requests from people who are attempting to duplicate your “Review My Blog” campaign, and want me to write a review for their site.
great idea, and in the process you’ve started a mass mailing campaign from others who are doing “john chow” wanna be campaigns.
