ReviewMe Increases My Price

Right after I finished the review of AlleNation, I noticed that ReviewMe has increased my review pricing. Future reviews will now cost $250.00.
For the past few months, ReviewMe had my pricing wrong due to incorrect Technorati and Estimated RSS score. They have finally corrected the ratings and my review price increased to $250.00, from $100.00.
While I’m happy to make more money for a review, my first thought was, “Who’s going to pay $250.00 for me to do a review?” Then I log into my RevewMe account and found two new review requests.

My blog got accepted for Reviewme yesterday. Just waiting for the requests to come in now.
is reviewme really worth it? i feel like im “whoring” my site out too much if i do that. that would be like 6 different income streams from one site. thoughts john?
As long as you don’t fill your blog with nothing by reviews, and as long as those reviews are related to the theme of your blog, I don’t see the problem. Last month I did 95 posts. Only 4 were sponsored.
How long have you been a part of ReviewMe?
I like how you instantly know if your site is accepted or not, but it’d be nice to know what their minimum requirements are.

Nice to see they’ve fixed the problem John, I was also surprised the ‘big’ and expensive sites do get review requests, but I suppose advertisers are also very interested in the biggest websites, a way more than in smaller websites I suppose.
Yeah, they should be. Imagine the promotion of being blogged about at this site. That gives a lot of visitors and if it is a blog in this topic it will get some dedicated readers. I might do it too some time, if I afford that is

Huge congrats John. I do believe that the rich do get richer with this program. I’m rated to charge substantially less than you are and the program’s been a dry well for me since the intro op.
This program seems to be very good for bigger players but next to useless for the smaller fish.
I guess my review purchase was a snatch then =)

I had been thinking of getting a review from John as well but it looks like I missed the boat on the $100 price. At $250, I might have to wait a little while unless I can get a few to buy a $60 review from my site.
I am STILL waiting for review me to ‘re-review’ my site, it was rejected about a month ago because I foolishly submitted it too when it was far to young, but it’s ready now!
also have you started using AdWords ads without posting about it? I may have missed a post or something but I noticed an AdWords post for this site on http://www.blogrankings.com/addblog.php?id=136 . ?

jeeeez, another positive for John. Just seems like everything is going so well for ya, which is awesome. For us newcomers out there, can you tell us about your hardships and how you got through it? Maybe make a post about it. I’m sure it’ll be a popular read and inspirational

My price went up to from $40.00 to $60.00. Good going John. Now if they would only fix their damn blog on reviewme.
Although I haven’t gotten any requests yet from reviewme, PPP though is getting better the prices are going up as well for posts, want a $1000 opp? PR 8 is necessary - check my blog for the screenshot.

I’ve been with ReviewMe for a few weeks now and have had 1 review requested, which I did decide to go through with.
I think as long as Review entries make up only a slight part of your overall blog content, it’s all good. ReviewMe pays fairly well, imo, and is a really good way to get your site promoted from an advertising standpoint.
Contextual links and entries that are, essentially, nothing more than ads, are going to get a lot more attention than a banner ad would.

Any tips on some how increasing the number of reviews that come in? I have been with them for several months now, and have only gotten one request - which I rejected because it had nothing to do with my blog’s topic…

How To Get More ReviewMe Reviews
I noticed my review price went up to $100 too from $60. But I don’t think people will bother to order reviews from me. I’ve only done one review since signing up at ReviewMe, which is the ReviewMe review. Congratz John.
