I just wrote a long post on this topic at my blog. I've been testing with PayPerPost and now with ReviewMe Marketplace. Take a look if you want to see the results.

I can not BELIEVE the snobbery going on in these comments. Those of you with your noses in the air saying that you wouldn't take a post for less than $20.00, and that people who do write rubbish blogs-that is insulting, and ridiculous. If you have a well-written blog with high traffic and pagerank and can get a lot of money for your reviews, you could also be writing for PayPerPost.

For example, do you have PR6 and a maximum Alexa of 99,999? How would you like $175.00 to write 100 words about a jewelry website? And you know what? You don't have to split the money with anyone, it's all yours. But, apparently, if I take that post, it's because I'm a small-time blogger who likes to waste her time.

John, I don't understand your assertion that any advertiser willing to pay $10.00 should just "go back to PayPerPost". How exactly is ReviewMe "better" than PPP? I respect you and I've learned a lot from reading your blog, but I think you are wrong to say that any one method of monetizing a blog is better than another. It's like saying that being a waitress is "better" than being a secretary. I work very, very hard on my blog, I spend HOURS a day networking, posting, commenting, replying, submitting my site to search engines-and I have had every single one of my 41 posts at PayPerPost approved. But despite my PR4, Alexa of 108,964 and three "stars", ReviewMe has had no offers for me at all. I'll take PayPerPost, thanks.

Interesting...My site is too new to get into review me or PPP. It sux but I'll live. But kudos to anyone who thinks they can be the new face out there. Whether they make it or not is a whole other story. xD

I am in review me and I picked one of their cheap little ones because I wanted to show the review quality on another site. I think it helps.

Yes, ultimately it is the publisher's choice as to how much of the service they will make use of.

James, yes I do have valid points, which many choose to ignore. As for ReviewMe- I'm still not able to access my old account nor re-add my blog under a new account. Maybe it's due to my response and the lack of respect for their service.
