Got this morning, saw the sun out, went for nice long bike ride. After the ride, I was planning on getting some Vietnamese subs for lunch but when I got there, I found out they don’t open on Sunday. Ended up walking 3 doors down to Bob’s Sub and ordering one of their heart attack inducing all meat foot long.
I got a page from a new affiliate. He owns Tech Array, a new hardware review site and he was pretty excited because he got one of his articles on both the front page of both Digg and Slashdot. At one point he had over 2,000 people logged onto his site, which is really good for a Sunday Digg/Slashdot. I think he will be very happen with his TTZ Media Network income.
I wanted to go to the Keg steakhouse tonight for dinner because Sunday is normally Keg night. However, Sarah didn’t felt like eating steak tonight so we ended up doing the Old Spaghetti Factory and a movie. In keeping with anti-health day (except for the bike ride) the movie we saw was Thank You For Smoking. The movie is a satire about a tobacco industry spinmaster who lobbies Hollywood to promote cigarette use in films. A marvel of perfect casting, crisp dialogue and biting wit, Thank You for Smoking is was really well done and you actually end up cheering for the smoke guy.
