Star Wars Dance Off – Does It Make You Happy Or Angry?

I admit, I’m a bigger Star Trek fan than I am a Star Wars fan. However, when it comes to licensing, I have to give George Lucas the edge. It seems the man has no limit nor shame. This includes licensing his Star Wars characters to a dance-off for your entertainment dollars. Star Wars purists will be shocked by the horror they’re about to experience. Everyone else will have a good laugh.

The highlight of the hilarious Hyperspace Hoopla that concludes each day of Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the Dance-Off with the Star Wars Stars during which Star Wars characters get down to popular music. The 2009 playlist includes hits from the ’80’s and ’90s and is not to be missed.

If wasting 12 minutes of your life that you’ll never get back isn’t enough, then why not waste another minute and watch Lord Darth Vader doing the Thriller from Michael Jackson.

  1. Posting seems to work. How about comments?

  2. This video is quite old now, but I can still watch it over and over. How can a Star Wars fan not love this?

    1. Cam Birch says:

Exactly. Any good Star Wars fan loves seeing Darth Vader do anything. I think Darth Vader in a speedo might be too much but this is totally awesome.

      1. Darth Vader in a speedo kind of takes the mystique from Darth. I don’t think Lucas would go for that.

  3. Angela says:

too funny I’m more of a Star Trek fan too

  4. Debo Hobo says:

Dude it costs way too much to get into that place to be hemmed up by that nonsense.

  5. Asswass says:

    $80 for that stupidity?

    1. John Chow says:

It cost $80 to get into that place? No way!

      1. Yea, it’s $80 to get in but, you do get a lot more to do than watch a stupid Star Wars dance off.

    2. Custom Essay says:

Just $80? come on, from where you got this reading 🙂

  6. While I’m a bigger Star Wars fan than most, that was definitely not something I’d be into. Wow.

  7. hospitalera says:

  9. I’m a big Star Wars fan, but my life is too short to watch that 12 minute video to the end 🙂 The 1-minute with Darth Vader was cool though.

  10. Wess Stewart says:

Why, John? Why? Is this to get back at BlueFur? Please tell me it is…

    1. Get back us for what? We did not make his server die.

  11. Doesn’t make me angry at all, quite comical in fact.

  12. Ghostwriter says:

I’m exactly the opposite. I’m a huge Star Wars fan. Not much of a Star Trek. The Darth Thriller reminds me of the dude on Britains Got Talent 2009

  13. I’m a star wars fan and I’m afraid to admit that after watching that it’s lost a few points in my book. There is no need to go that extreme.

I guess you cant blame Lucas, he is just filling a need and making money from it. Somewhat amusing, mostly sad. More a trek fan myself as well, but wouldn’t pay to see anyone dance like that…lol
