Stop Blogging, Go Outside and Network

Do you want to improve your blog? Then stop blogging, go outside and network. Blogging can get very lonely. In most cases, you’re a one-person operation with no one to talk to at the water cooler. Creativity slows when the brain is not engaged with new ideas. The best way to fix that is to network with other like-minded people.

Instead of being cooped up inside the house and getting a sun tan from your computer screen, why not go outside and do some quality networking? This month, I’ll be crisscrossing the country to do some face-to-face networking with my readers. I invite you to join me at any of the following events.

Marketing Mastery Summit and Dinner – Vancouver

The Marketing Mastery Summit happens in Vancouver on November 24-25. You will learn, practice and experience highly effective marketing and business building strategies that will help you to build your business with a solid foundation and effective marketing system. You can also join me for dinner.

I’ve been given a coupon code that’ll bring the early-bird ticket price of the summit down to only $147 (regular ticket prices are $297). Furthermore, I’ve been told I get a commission on ticket sales. So, I thought, why not spend the commission on dinner with the people who use the coupon?

Follow these three simple steps to attend the Marketing Mastery Summit and have dinner with me at some fancy Vancouver restaurant.

  1. Purchase your tickets to the Marketing Mastery Summit
  2. Enter discount code JohnChow to reduce the early-bird price to $147
  3. eMail me a copy of your receipt to johnchow [@] johnchow.com

The coupon expires after ten uses or on November 10, whichever comes first. You MUST use the JohnChow coupon code. That is how everything is being tracked. Other coupon codes might get you a discount, but only this one will get you dinner with me.

Product Camp SoCal – Orange County

Product Camp SoCal happens November 3 at the California State University in Fullerton. Assuming I get enough votes, I’ll be presenting the following topic.

Zero To $200,000 In One Month – How To Launch Your Own Info Product

In this real life case study, I will show you how I created an info product in 28 days, marketed it online, and made $200,000 of sales in the first month. All done with a starting budget of less than $1000.

The camp is free to attend. Full day tickets are sold out. However, afternoon tickets are still available.

The Future Is Now Industry Legends Unite Party – New York

This is a party we’re hosting during At Tech New York. We have an open bar for everyone. DJ’s will be jamming a rocking beat. You can dance along or just admire the hot go-go dancers as they shake their money-makers. To top it off, we have a surprise performance by an un-named superstar that is sure to set the roof on fire. It’s a great way to let off some stream after a day of blogging.

inspiration 2020 – Los Angeles

The Inspiration 2020 Global Success Conference happens in Los Angeles November 9 to 10. Top speakers from around the world will be sharing their best content in 20-30 minute modules. It’s a great event to learn and network.

Passes for Inspiration 2020 are $197, but I’ve been given a few complimentary tickets for John Chow dot Com readers.

USE THE SUPER-SECRET CODE “7777″ IN THE PROMO LINE TO CLAIM YOUR COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS. EACH TICKET IS GOOD FOR 2 PEOPLE.

Holding my presentation down to 20 minutes is going to be a challenge, but I’m looking forward to it. I’m looking forward to seeing you there as well.

Face to Face marketing has proven to be extremely effective. I imagine that in 2030 the majority of affiliates will make their cash outsourcing people to sell in person, rather than on landing pages.

  2. Yes, we can get buried in our blog that we do NOT even see what is happening around and how much help we can get by just reaching out to someone else. Like someone said, you are just 6 people away from anyone on earth (even if he’s the president). So, networking will help us move our businesses faster than we could do all alone — Someone has answers we’ve been struggling to answer.

  9. Ivan Aliku says:

Networking truly is the key to being a successful entrepreneur. No one is an island and we only learn more when we share ideas. I would have loved to partake in this program but I wouldn’t be able to make it. I guess I will have to watch out for the next one.
