Blogger and John Chow dot Com reader, Suzanne Franco, needs your help to become the next Blogging Idol. Currently, she is in 10th place.
Blogging Idol is the creation of Daily Blog Tips. The competition runs from November 1st until November 30th. During that period, 7 points will be awarded to the competitors, on the following way:
- 1 point to the competitor with the highest increase on the number of RSS subscribers
- 3 points to the competitors (one for each) with the highest number of votes on the open voting session
- 3 points awarded by a panel of judges
Right now, the competition is in the RSS portion. The voting portion will start next week. You can help Suzanne win the RSS race by subscribing to her blog.
Why I’m Supporting Suzanne Franco
Suzanne was extremely creative in her pursuit of the Blogging Idol title. She sent me the below video plea as part of her roundup to gain guru support. Anyone that is willing to go this far to get my attention has my vote!

This shows what chutzpah will get you. How many other Blogging Idols could have requested John Chow’s help? Plus Suzanne did it in a unique, don’t ignore me manner; yet, not overly aggressive either. Actually, her sincere charm helped sell this I am sure.

Kurt ~ That’s funny! I’m certain you don’t follow me or my blog … because if you did … you would know what I said, and more importantly, why I did the videos. I did them to get my readers involved and to have some fun with it. I wanted to show my readers how to think outside the box and to play a little too.
