Suzhou Water Show at Jinji Lake
written by John Chow
On our last night in Suzhou, we decided to check out the famous Suzhou Water Show (also call the Water Feature). The show takes place on Jinji Lake and is a bit reminiscent of the water show at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas, only with more effects.
While the show at the Bellagio used only water and music, the show at Jinji Lake adds lights, lasers, fire and a water screen that shows videos. The 27 minutes show also last a lot longer than the four minutes Bellagio water display. It’s really something to watch and I highly recommend checking it out when you’re Suzhou because this highlight video showing the first eight minutes doesn’t do it justice.

Don’t drink the water. Might get lead poisoning, or at the least, you might get a pork bun filled with cardboard chucked at your head. Rashes caused by splashing are purely coincidental according to local authorities

The water show is even better than the one at Disney’s EPCOT in Florida.
That looks fantastic. I wish I could see this in person.

I think you have to pay, but I could be wrong.
It’s beautiful and awesome. Haven’t have chance to Suzhou as of now.
I’ve seen the Bellagio show, and, at the time, I thought it was the most awesome thing I had ever seen. This show, on the other hand, blows the Bellagio one away. Wow.
That looks amazing, it certainly puts the Ballagio to shame! I enjoyed the Bellagio a lot so seeing this up close would be something very special indeed.
