
You can tell Taipei has embraced the American culture long before you get there. At the Vancouver airport there was a 6 feet tall eagle at the EVA Air gate.

Taipei has their own New York, New York shopping center. Inside are many American brands, like Starbucks and MacDonald’s.

Taipei even has their own Statue of Liberty. It’s just outside New York, New York.

New York was a city that set world records for tall buildings and Taipei currently holds the world’s tallest building, the Taipei 101. I’ll have some pics of Taipei from the 84th floor of the 101 on Wednesday. Intel is doing a lunch party there.
For those who are wondering, that pink box that I’m holding in the above photo is what my cell phone SIM card came in.
