Day 1 of Telus World Ski & Snowboard Festival was pretty uneventful. All we had to do was find our hotel and then hit the media room to pick up our badges. The Big Air Finals doesn’t happen until tomorrow so we had plenty of time to walk around the village and see the displays.
Most of the action is happening at the village but there are some events happening at the top of the mountain. Even though our press passes allowed us to go everywhere, we’re not sure if we want to ascend the mountain. It’s pretty cold up there.
Here’s a video from our first day at the 2008 Telus World Ski & Snowboard Festival. Look for more videos and photos later. I’m sure the rest of the Dot Com crew will be posting stuff as well.

There was nothing to hang on to!

P.S. That’s a really funny razor ride.
Yeah Sally was just motoring. Good choice of music to add to the video too.
I must admit the razor ride is a very different way to promote a razor. (That was what it was for right? a promo) Good thing you fell off the side you did John, you might have got a close shave if you fell off the front.
Have fun John and Co.!
