Testing Out The Booth Babe Cam
written by John Chow on January 9th, 2007
This is a test of the Canon S3 digital camera with 12X optical zoom, also known as the Booth Babe Cam. The S3 is considered by many to be the ultimate trade show camera. Here’s the reason why.

The original photo is way bigger than the above! You want the camera now, don’t you? Well, here’s where you can buy it.

I’ll take 5, thanks.
Camera?
What camera?
There’s a camera?
Please write something about the Appleshow too
powerbass!!!
what is there a camera in the picture? Or you took the picture with the camera. In which case I don’t get it.
I took her picture with that camera.
Alex, he is showing you the high quality image that the Canon PowerShot S3 IS Digital Camera is capable of taking.
John, what resolution was the original image, and are there any more girls that you took photos of? ::
Wow, that’s some… er… camera. And the photo was …ummm… pretty nice too!
It looks like an SLR; if so, those are pretty cheap prices for a digital SLR. I guess those are without the lens, though.
She’s got great personalities.
We all love great personalities.
If I buy the camera, does she come with it?
Oh I see. In that case can I have the girl instead of the camera?
Hmm. Great body, butter face….
Don’t see anything special about the picture quality unless it was actualy John posing for that magical camera:)
Sexy!!!
Absolutely masterful piece of linking to your ad there John. Entice all of us with the picture of a knockout and then pitch the camera ad, brilliant.
The portrait is extremely tall. From my experiences most cameras deliver 8×6 ratio photos. Might be a setting that all cameras have, but it looks cool nonetheless. I’m a camera newbie, and just use a Casio point and shoot
PS to all those confused, the picture of the camera (with pricing and buying info) is below the picture of the girl.
Butterface? Derrich, you wouldn’t pass that up on your most sober of Saturday nights. Period.
Guys, if you’re wondering why the girls don’t talk to you, consider whether public behavior like this might be a little off-putting. Yeah, I have a sense of humor. But it gets very, very tired, being constantly exercised on crap like this.
John, equal time for the rest of your readers: I demand beefcake!
too bad they banned booth babes at E3. I wonder what you will see at a much much higher resolution…
Anyways, I see John you ran one of your super specific targeting ads mentioned first in the how to make money from Digg article (it was a LCD then I think?) It should be good considering you have a beautiful woman and well targeted ads, if of course people aren’t too distracted ;D
Now, if only I could make it into TTZ Aff and find some specific tech topic…
I have that exact camera and I love it. The ultra zoom (and optical image stabilization) came in real handy when I was covering the Gemini Awards earlier this year.
That’s a wonderful girl… uhm, I mean, camera, of course.
Well well John – if I go by the photo you have taken, guess there should no reason why I may not want to buy the camera…
Can I get a deal on her on TTZ?
A missing feature in this camera is for it to know when to take pics of only the neck down… like in this instance. lol.
I would get a DSLR camera none the less
heheh your wife loves this?
You are right the S3 is the best Boob Babe Cam…
That was simply excellent.
Did you edit that photo for size? It seems quite tall.
Hot! As good as that resolution is, it doesnt beat the real thing!
Well I for one didn’t notice the camera ad…. still, it was a slick sell John
You’ve got to love high resolution photography, with a worthy subject matter
Matt
C’mon John, this is not the old type of booth babe photos you used to take… You bought a camera with 12x optical zoom for a REASON. Put that zoom lens to proper use!
We know it’s not about the camera! It never is…
I have the Canon S3 too and I love it. Though I am trying to save up for at least the Digital Rebel XTi (I’d even settle for the XT) but it has to be the black body.
I need to get back into photography, I soo miss it.
HEY! that’s my friend Teresa Noreen!
Have a look at what she did for me:

And if you guys want to have a wallpaper of her on their windows desktop, here’s one I made a few months back:

The image stabilization comes in handy while taking pictures of booth babes. The widescreen feature appears to be a gimmick however.
Funny…the only thing that sticks out in my mind is “POWERBASE.” Interesting marketing concept, very effective from what I see above.
